As visiting friend in ntu ,she bring me here for some snack also
i was quite surprise that ntu mr bean sell so much difference kind of cakes
among all the banana omelette was quite unique,so i bought this to try
it cost $4.90,it was very soft,inside is whipped cream with real banana
Quite sweet ,is actually quite nice,but too much whipped cream make me feel a bit sick of it,overall not bad,can try their other cakes too next time

This Mr Bean outlets really sells a lot of different thing from the Mr Beans you find in heartland areas. I was kind of thrilled to see that they sold hotdogs with nacho sauce on top. I knew they sold the normal hotdogs but to invent one with nacho sauce was just indeed fantastic. Although it was so sinful but it was a must try. the nacho sauce and sour cream enhance the flavour of the plain hotdog bun. the bun was light and fluffy and the hotdog was very tasty. I recommend this from this outlet.

Mr bean is one of my favourite snack, where a pancake with a cup of hot/cold soymilk cost $1.90. My favourite would be their cheese or their tuna pancake. Their pearly soymilk or their pearly bandung soymilk are also drinks that I commonly buy. The riceball is also worth it for the price and nice. It has both sesame and peanut flavour which are common favourite flavours of riceballs.

Having tried the normal Soya Milk from Mr Bean, I wanted to see what is the difference between the normal cold Soya Milk and Pearly Soya Milk Ice Blended. The difference is in the presence of the pearls. There is no ice-blended texture in the cup at all. The pearls are not that chewy and in fact quite hard. The staff here are generally middle-aged aunties and they cannot really understand English. It's easier to communicate in Mandarin with them. They are fast and efficient with minimal waiting time. The queue is usually long during both peak and non-peak hours but clears very fast.

I will stick with my original favourite Chocolate Soya Milk Ice Blended next time. This one that I ordered today is really not worth it.

This Mr Bean glutinous rice balls beancurd costs $1.80 only at NTU and it's quality was about the same as other outlets. I had mixed peanut and black sesame rice balls, the peanut one was not too sweet or too fine, the texture of the peanut paste was just right. The black sesame one was rather nice as well, but it does not have much of the black sesame smell. Also, the fillings of the rice balls were generous but the beancurd was rather rough.

I really enjoy the soya milk that mr bean sells. This stall especially sells really great soya milk. The soya milk is really smooth. You do not taste any soya bean powder at the bottom of the drink. Most importantly, the drink itself is not too sweet. I really dislike those too sweet soya milk, it does not even quench your thirst. Their warm soya milk proves to be awesome on cold weathers.The school's Mr bean is much cheaper than outside. i got my soya milk for only $1 while outside i think it cost around $1.40. therefore the food in campus is much cheaper.

This Caramel Custard Pancake is very delicious. The caramel custard itself is sweet but not too sweet and it has a thick texture. It does not give me a sick taste after having some mouthful which is nice The pancake itself is flavorful and goes very well with the caramel custard. This pancake is a must-try if you love custard because the custard taste is still strong. The service is fast and good.

Nothing beats having a cooling cone of ice cream on a hot and sunny afternoon. Ordered this original soya ice cream and it was really delicious

Mr Bean's ice cream had always been a sinful treat. It was labelled as the healthier choice food but at the same time taste really really nice The ice cream was creamy and rich in taste, however it was not so sweet. The cone at the bottom was as delicious too! Even without the accompanying ice cream, it still have a little sweet taste in it.

My husband and I were waiting to pick up our daughter before we head to my parents place for dinner. While waiting we started to feel hungry so we drop our daughter a message to pick up something for us. She came with two hot dogs from mr bean. Apparently her school’s mr bean actually sells hot dog. The hot dog tasted like ikea’s one. the bun was toasted till crispy. The hotdog was very juicy. She said they can squeeze the mustard and chilli themselves. It was really good. The hotdog was very satisfying.

This soya beancurd is very delicious. The beancurd itself is very smooth and taste pleasing to the palette. However, the gravy may be a little too sweet and you may need to tell the person to add less sugar. The portion is quite big so it's definitely a value for money. The service is very good and fast.

I did not know that mr bean actually sold sandwiches! Apparently there are two queues for the mr bean in ntu, one for the normal pancake and soya milk, the other for the sandwich. I decided to give it a try ordered the egg mayo sandwich. Initially when I got my sandwich, it did look a lot smaller than subway’s 6 inch but after eating halfway, it felt so filling. They added quite a generous amount of egg mayo till the extent that when I squeeze it a little, it oozes out. The lady gave me a choice as to what sauce I wanted to add, I opted for mustard. The mustard sauce did give the sandwich a sourish taste making it very delicious. I would not mind patronising their sandwich kiosk again to try their other sandwiches since each sandwich only cost $2.80.

There is something special about the mr bean at ntu. They sell sandwiches. They have a variety of fillings ranging from egg mayo to tuna mayo to chicken mayo. I decided to give the chicken mayo a try. Their bread is some sort of black peppered. The bread is very thick, making it very filling. the chicken mayo filling is different from that of delifrance, theirs you can eat the chicken pieces. The mayo is very light as well. they add cucumbers and tomato to give the sandwich a light and refreshing taste. the assistant ask if I wanted to add any sauce, I opted for chilli, it gave the sandwich a hot taste. as a whole it was rather satisfactory.

It was a really long afternoon so I bought myself a cup of warm soya milk to perk myself up. There is not much nice drinks stall in ntu other than the bubble tea stall. the soya milk is really nice, you can taste the richness of the soya milk. It taste really fresh. One thing I like about this soya milk is that it is not too sweet and the soya milk is very smooth. there is no aftertaste as well. Really satisfied!

Had the soy bean curd and the salted green bean cookie. They were both yummy! Mr Bean is really consistent in quality and standard. Service is nothing to speak of, so there's nothing much to report. It's just no frills and polite service.

The food and drinks are great. I love their bean curd. Always fresh, fragrant, tasty and just the right smooth texture. It's hard to find anyone else making such great soybean curd, except for GoGoBeanz, which are organic.

Mr Bean is the original smooth bean curd. It's always clean and right in their store. And their food always tastes real, fresh and made with patience and love.
