The taste is tranditional Japanese flavour . The curry they provided is selective . Sweat , tranditional And spicy curry .

Seats are limited because marina square are already crowded with customers
. Almost every restaurant need to queue

Price is reasonable , environment is warm and with wooden decoration

Our first visit at Mr Curry. Here's a quick review:

Food
1. Fried Salmon with Cheese Curry Rice (Very Spicy chosen) - Small Serving, curry wasn't too spicy though I chose the very spicy option. I think the curry tasted nicer than coco-ichibaya.
2. Seafood Curry Noodle - Fresh seafood ingredients. However, the curry soup base was too salty.
3. Yuzu Soda - Tasted refreshing as usual!

Ambience
1. Simple design and good lighting. Not too romantic for couple. Good for a quick meal.

Service
1. The staff were very young and efficient. After we finished our meal, they immediately came to clear up our table.

There's a range of curry to choose from here. There's the original curry, creamy curry and 2 more. I've tried the original curry. I think I'll try the creamy one the next time! You could also choose the spicy level from non-spicy to hot spicy! Since I wasn't too sure about their spicy level, I tried the medium one, which wasn't spicy at all!!

I ordered the seafood omelette curry rice ($13.80). The serving of the seafood was quite generous. What I didn't like was that the salad came together with the curry rice. The salad dressing was mixed with the curry sauce which was a bit weird. Other than that, I enjoyed the food here

Mr. Curry is affordable and has a clean look. It is definitely an option for lunch/dinner. The first to arrive was Katsu Pan Nabe. It was actually bread bowl with curry, carrot, chicken inside and chicken culet on top of it. There were also twister fries as well. For this dish, we are allowed to choose the spicness for the curry ranging from not spicy to very spicy. The bread was hard but it was very nice when it was dipped with the curry. I can't stop myself from eating that bread.

The mushroom omu rice at Mr Curry tasted nice. But i think it was a little bit too not spicy for me as i was chosing the spiciness as medium. I will definitely visit mr curry again and when i do visit them i will order food with the highest spiceness.I think it will be perfect for me.

The chicken cutlet was pretty small but enough for one person's serving.
It was not that good though.
The cutlet was a little too oily and the chicken wasn't juicy.
It was moist though, so it is still acceptable.
The curry are just average japanese curry
It just taste like those japanese packet curry which you can get from supermarket

Love the way they have a separate pot of curry for indulge. Even with the pot of the curry, he just couldn't have enough of it.
We get to choose the level of spiciness for the curry which i found really great cause i loved curry but can't really take too much spiceOverall, the food was pretty ok, but for its small portions, it just wasn't worth the price.

Tried quite a variety of their food during my past few visits.

The salad surprises me as I am never a salad person, but I felt it tasted good.

My favourite side ought to be deep fried salmon cheese, but it was not available on my last 2 visits.

The drinks are not impressive and always too full for desserts because there are too many sides and main courses to choose from.

Are you a fan for CURRY If So, Do try Mr. Curry at Marina Square. It was located at Level 2 where most of the resturant (Jack's Place, Shabu-Shabu and more) are at there. As usual, my friend and I will roam around to look for any food that will temp us.

Firstly, we looked at Mr.Curry Menu Book, the waitress was very friendly and started to introduce to us some of their popular foods. We then proceed in and she ushered us to our seat with two menus. We took a few minutes to decide what we want and we've pampered ourselves fullest by ordering plenty of food. The foods that we ordered were Ebi Mush Doria, Katsu Pan Nabe, Salmon Cheese and Yaki Sobe, as for drinks there were blueberry Smootie and oreo Shake. Below are the details of foods and drinks. The first to arrive was Katsu Pan Nabe. It was actually bread bowl with curry, carrot, chicken inside and chicken culet on top of it. There were also twister fries as well. For this dish, we are allowed to choose the spicness for the curry ranging from not spicy to very spicy. The bread was hard but it was very nice when it was dipped with the curry. I can't stop myself from eating that bread. This Salmon Cheese was quite tasteless. After I dipped with the tar tar sauce that was provided, I still feel that it is tasteless. The salmon was quite little and mostly I can only taste the cheese in it. The curry still plays the major role as I used it as a dipper for my Salmon Cheese The picture above was actually seafood spaghetti with curry sauce. Their portion for the noodles and ingredients was quite alot for one person. The curry and noodles was cooked well together. The spaghetti texture was just right, not too soft or hard. This portion of baked rice was actually quite small. The depth of this bowl was actually only about 3cm tall. The rice was spread at the botton with curry sauce, cheese, mushrooms, prawns on top of it.The prawns was big and the taste was delicious and juicy. I like their rice as it was soft, it was also one of the dish that chef has recommended.

After eleborating all the foods above, now I will touch on drinks. As compared with these 2 drinks, blueberry smoothie would definetely taste the best. Blueberry Smoothie was thick and when the moment it was placed on our table, the smell was irresistable. It has a strong pleasant smell of blueberry and taste was marvellous. However for the oreo shake, it was rather disappointing, the picture shown was quite appealing but when I tasted it, it was quite fluid and I could not really feel that I'm drinking oreo but instead it tasted more like milk.

The total spending for this whole foods and drinks were $75.09 (inclusive of GST and Service Charge).

SGD 15(Lunch)

I decided to try the katsu curry rice at Mr Curry and I was pretty pleased with the restaurant's concept to let customers customise their curry. I chose the normal curry with the second (out of three) level of spiciness. The curry is pretty thick and not too concentrated, just the way I like it. It was a little too spicy for me because I don't eat spicy food, so I'd probably choose the first level of spiciness next time.

The chicken cutlet was pretty small but enough for one person's serving. It was not that good though. The cutlet was a little too oily and the chicken wasn't juicy. It was moist though, so it is still acceptable. It a pretty simple set meal but I like how well the fragrant rice goes with the curry.

I went to Mr Curry at Marina Square outlet and was served immediately after i was led to my seat on a crowed Friday evening.
The service staffs were mainly guys but they were cherrful and attentive and quick to refill guests glass of water.
I was pleasantly surprised to find cuttlefish ink in one of their rice meal which was rather rare as most of the restaurant served a little of the cuttlefish ink on pasta but here was a generous portion and you even got to select the curry as they have 4 different levels of spicess.
Their sashimi salad was also value for money with good seafood and nice japanese dressing.
I would strongly recommend Mr Curry for the good experience anyone could have.

Being a fan of japanese curry, I will always choose japanese food whenever I cant decide what to have for dinner. Tried Mr curry for the first time. It was good Ordered the chicken katsu curry, where we can choose level of spicness, just choosing 1 level up. Such a choice makes it better for people who prefer to choose their level of preferred spicyness which I thought was a plus point for the restaurant. Good job!

I had another group outing, the second in this week and everyone suggested mr curry at marina square, apparently my this group of friends does have a thing for curry so off we went to mr curry. I did not think twice, I will order my omelet rice. This time I decided to try out something new, the chicken and mushroom omelet rice. It was good. As usual, I opted for the safe choice and took the original and spicy curry. I really enjoy my meal and I can have it everyday!!!
