Mr Curry

I ordered green tea with vanilla soft serve ice cream. Just like from any typical Japanese ice cream dessert outlets, it came with red bean paste and plain chewy dumplings. The addition of the crackers and a strawberry did not help much. Mum ordered the ice cream which had a scope of green tea and black sesame. With 2 ice cream cones sticking out from each side made it looked horrible and difficult to eat. (Having constant worry that either the cones or the ice cream would take a plough
onto the table.) As a strawberry lover, my brother would definitely pick the strawberry one. Entirely soft serve ice cream with strawberry sauce and strawberries, providing a blend of sweet and sour. I found the 2 pocky sticks on it rather lame!

This is one of my favourite dish from this Japanese restaurant. The bread bowl is toasted till really nice golden brown colour and the texture is firm and delicious. The chicken cutlet is also very crispy and not too oily. Rare to see they have add in curl fries as their side dishes which make this dish look even more interesting and yummy! The curl fries are also very chewy and not too oily too.

It is quite a unique restaurant as only curry dishes are served here. I have tried their scallop baked rice and was amused that the japanese curry gravy used in making this dish really has enhanced the full flavour of it. The curry is not too spicy (as requested by me) is fragrant, with lots of creamy cheese topped on it. A few big pieces of large scallops are topped on the dish which are really fresh and chewy. The fragrant japanese rice used is also soft and really goes well with all the above toppings. Would strongly recommend to try this dish if you ever pass by here.

Love the way they have a separate pot of curry for indulge.
Even with the pot of the curry, he just couldn't have enough of it.
We get to choose the level of spiciness for the curry which i found really great
cause i loved curry but can't really take too much spicenice dessert
Overall, the food was pretty ok, but for its small portions, it just wasn't worth the price.

The mushroom omu rice at Mr Curry tasted nice. But i think it was a little bit too not spicy for me as i was chosing the spiciness as medium. I will definitely visit mr curry again and when i do visit them i will order food with the highest spiceness.I think it will be perfect for me.

We recently tried the Japanese curry with pan fried chicken & rice at Mr. curry. It looked awesome and tasted good as well. The curry tasted like the Maggi noodles (Curry flavour). It went well with the rice & for once I was able to finish my entire meal,as most times, I end up pushing my food into my hubby's plate.

The chicken cutlet was pretty small but enough for one person's serving.
It was not that good though.
The cutlet was a little too oily and the chicken wasn't juicy.
It was moist though, so it is still acceptable.
It a pretty simple set meal but I like how well the fragrant rice goes with the curry.The curry are just average japanese curry
It just taste like those japanese packet curry which you can get from supermarket

Firstly, we looked at Mr.Curry Menu Book, the waitress was very friendly and started to introduce to us some of their popular foods. We then proceed in and she ushered us to our seat with two menus. We took a few minutes to decide what we want and we've pampered ourselves fullest by ordering plenty of food. The foods that we ordered were Ebi Mush Doria, Katsu Pan Nabe, Salmon Cheese and Yaki Sobe, as for drinks there were blueberry Smootie and oreo Shake. Below are the details of foods and drinks.

this pork chop.. deep fried.. really crispy.. not too oily.. egg wrapped fried rice surround with curry sauce... yummm~

next was the waffle ice cream.. sesame and green tea flavour =)

crispy yet soft inside.. with fresh fruits and sweet canned peaches!!

Crab Omu Rice ($12.80)Love the way they have a separate pot of curry for indulge. Even with the pot of the curry, he just couldn't have enough of it.

Spicy Cod Roe Doria ($11.80)If only they have the potatoes slice instead of having a big chunk of it. It is kind of weird to have the potatoes and rice combination as it is too fulfilling a meal to have a combo like this. Didn't really manage to finish the rice.

Mango Smoothie ($5.80)I hate it when a restaurant charge for a good amount of money but does not use the real fruit but syrup for their drinks. The smoothie wasn't blended well, I could still feel a few pieces of ice. I made a mental note to myself that the next time round if I want some juice or smoothie I will ask the staff if it is make from real fruit.

I was shopping around central with my girlfriend when we could not decide what to eat. We walked by mr curry and decided to give it a try. It was not very crowded and we were famished so we headed in. I ordered the katsu curry rice. I got to choose what curry I wanted. I ordered the normal curry. then there were three level of spiciness, I chose the medium spiciness. It turned out really well, the curry tasted really delicious, the katsu was very crispy on the outside and the inside was tender and juicy.

Recently my colleague and i went for lunch at The Central. As i got a discount coupon, we managed to eat this meal a almost half price. i ordered a tomato ketchap rice omelette with scallop and prawns and my colleague having pork curry noodles. Both of us are quite enjoy with the food. My colleague like the curry gravy a lot, as it was not spicy. We did not order any drinks, so we requested or 2 plain water.

I have fallen in love with waraku’s mr curry. It is totally awesome. My friends brought me to the central branch and I am totally hooked on. I ordered the curry sausage omu rice. It was fabulous. They were very generous with their sausages. The curry goes really well with the rice. They serve the curry separately from the rice so u can add as much as you want. As a whole, I totally love this experience!

First of all, i really liked the cute deco of the place, especially the cat like mascot!

Anyway, decided to dine here with my group of friends after shopping at the central.

We get to choose the level of spiciness for the curry which i found really great cause i loved curry but can't really take too much spice.

I had the pork cutlet with omelet rice which was pretty ok except for its pathetic serving portions. I can't remember what my friend ordered.

Overall, the food was pretty ok, but for its small portions, it just wasn't worth the price.

Mr. Curry is affordable and has a clean look. It is definitely an option for lunch/dinner.

Tried quite a variety of their food during my past few visits.

The salad surprises me as I am never a salad person, but I felt it tasted good.

My favourite side ought to be deep fried salmon cheese, but it was not available on my last 2 visits.

The drinks are not impressive and always too full for desserts because there are too many sides and main courses to choose from.
