Signature Dishes
The family happened to be sitting in front of this Zi Char stall so we decided to order our dinner from them. Apparently they seemed pretty popular cos crowds and crowds of people kept repeatedly ordering from their stall. We ordered their sweet and sour pork and sambal kang kong from them on top of the food we ordered from other stalls. their sambal kang kong was not too spicy, the kang kong was pretty crunchy. the sweet and sour pork was not too bad, they did not have any fat meats inside. the sauce was not bad too. the only down side is the service is pretty slow.

My sister was craving for Hotplate toufu, so despite everyone ordering their food from other stall, my mum went over to this Zi Char stall to order it for her. I guess this stall is really popular, we were almost done with our food and my sister’s hotplate toufu was not even here. After more than half an hour wait, it finally came. Their hotplate toufu in my opinion was pretty common. Their sauce seemed darker than other hotplate toufu from other zi char stalls. The gravy was not too much, it was ok, not too salty. if we knew the wait was going to be so long, I guess we probably would not order from them.
