Everytime I walked pass Nando's at JCube, I could smell the aroma of grilled meat. This time I cannot resist the temptation of grilled meat, hence I went in to dine.Hence, I had ordered a one quarter chicken with sides of Fries and coleslaw. From the menu, there was a few spiciness to choose from. But I was afraid to eat too spicy food, hence I had choosen Lemon & Herb. When the dish came to my table, I can smell grilled aroma and the colour of the chicken meat was so nicely grilled. The chicken skin was very flavourful with spices and the meat was very tender and juicy. The Fries had so chilli powder sprinkles, though not spicy, it enchance the flavours of the Fries. The coleslaw was a little dry though, I would still prefer KFC type of wet coleslaw.Overall, I think Nando's makes great grilled yummy chicken, though their prices was a little bit steep. continue reading

Took my friend to Nando's for dinner as this was her first time eating there. We both decided to try Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken with different sides (mine with spicy rice & chips while my friend ordered spinach). We opt for HOT as the level of hotness of our peri peri sauce. It was delicious!!! Tender chicken, fragrant rice, crisp fries and a lingering peri peri taste that excites the senses Would love to go back there and order peri peri chicken again even though their service isn't that excellent due to a large amount of waiting i.e. for them to refill water, get utensils etc. continue reading

I decide not to order the usual 1/4 chicken that I usually order but got chicken breast fillet pita ($13.90 with 2 sides) instead! My sides were wedges and coleslaw. Other than pita, I could have picked from burger or wrap. I’m quite pleased about my choice of pita. It's so nice! It’s like a bread which is very soft and very easy to bite down. The pita was wrapped with 4 small chicken fillets with lots of greens inside like tomato cubes, vegetables. The pita was also lined with Nando’s special mayonnaise sauce and all these really made a good combination. The only downside is that, it’s hard to eat the pita on a whole, I ate my meat and pita separately because everything fell out the moment I tried to cut into half. The wedges were really crisp and good! As for the coleslaw, it’s not too bad but abit too dry.My second time there, the service still hasn’t improved much. There was no refill of water but there weren’t any signs of Nando’s being understaffed despite being 80% full. And we had to go to the counter to pay for our bill in order to expedite the process, else I guess we would have to wait really long. Good food but lacking in service. If you're looking for something different, do try pita! continue reading

Chicken breast fillet burger with 1 regular side combination at $12.90There are different levels of spiciness and I picked the mild level. Their highly raved peri peri sauce was quite disappointing. It was not fabulous but fairly decent. The chicken breast fillet was quite tough. The potato wedges were served hot so they tasted good. Personally, I don't think I will go back again because really, there is nothing about their food to rave about. continue reading

This is probably my 3rd or 4th time dining at Nandos at Jcube. As per usual, I ordered a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides (salad and wedges). The chicken was a bit overcooked ('chao tar'). But anyway, I dipped the chicken with mild peri peri sauce. As the restaurant was located just beside the ice skating ring (The Rink), one is able to enjoy watching people skate past. Spent about $14 for this meal. continue reading
