We had our tea break at New Zealand Natural Cafe this afternoon & each of us ordered a waffle with ice cream ($7.50). Although it was stated on the menu that the ice cream is vanilla, but the staff told us that we can actually choose the ice cream flavour ourselves! I had chosen mango passion ice cream to go with the waffle while my colleague chosen berries yoghurt ice cream. The waffles were very yummy (comparable to gelare)! Presentation is nice & looks inviting. What we love most were the crispy waffles, nicely paired with ice cream & honey drizzle & generous nuts sprinkles. Heavenly combination & addictive! =)  They also have chocolate lava cake with ice cream which look pretty delicious too. We will definitely go back to try out other desserts/ice cream flavours in future. Thumbs up for their waffle ice cream! continue reading

The ice cream here is said to be natural and I tried the caramel chocolate crunch and it had to a of chocolate bits and cookie bits in it. The server was generous with the "one" scoop that turned out to be 1.5 scoop. And I got the new flavor promotion which was 50% off sooooo $2.60 for a single scoop icecream with a cone not a bad deal and again I enjoyed nibbling all the chocolate bits!! continue reading

I have been walking past this cafe for numerous times. I always thought this place sells mainly frozen yoghurt and ice cream. One fine day I saw the menu board actually has main meals on offer. Since I'm doing takeaway, I picked the delish looking Triple turkey club sandwich ($14). It comes with chips and mesculin salad on the side. The bread was toasted golden brown with turkey bacon, turkey ham, hen eggs, tomato and lettuce. It was really tasty! I will come back again to try their giant wraps continue reading

After dinner, had a sudden crave for ice cream. Walked past this place and gave a try to their ice cream. I had an impression that this shop sells very milky ice cream, but since it's my first time, I did not really care about it so much. I ordered the large cup size, and allowed to choose 3 different flavours. I chose raspberry sorbet, durian vanilla and cookies and cream. Among the 3, I enjoyed raspberry sorbet the most. Strong taste and I loved the sourish of it! I found the durian , cookies and cream too sweet for me. I would say durian without vanilla would be nicer, like the one at Udders. continue reading

If you are craving for some desserts after 9pm, this will be a pretty good choice to consider for some cakes ;DIt was on a one-for-one offer after 9pm so I bought it!;D Some of the flavours are already sold out though.): So I bought the black forest sliced cake and the chocolate truffle sliced cake. Each piece cost $5.50 if without the one-for-one promotion. The black forest cake taste was a little light and would be better if the berry taste is stronger. As for the chocolate truffle, it is quite thick and it is quite nice ;DWhen it is on the promotion it is definitely worth it ^^ would probably try other flavours next time. continue reading
