Walking up to the first level, there is a stall at the centre of the shopping centre which sells kuehs. Each costs $0.80 and it goes for $2.20 if you buy three. I bought only one since I am alone, but it would be easy to buy 3 as there are quite a lot of varieties of kuehs. I bought this pinkish coloured kueh because I have not seen it before and I was curious about how it tasted like. The kuehs are steamed in layers and it can be peeled off layer by layer for easy eating. The pink and white layers taste about the same, so I think it is just the colouring. The taste of the kueh is quite alright, it is quite strong in coconut milk and that also gives it its fragrance. The kueh is also sweet. Those with sweet tooth will probably enjoy this.
