the yam cake was super oily but it was good-tasting. the skin was slightly crispy at the edges, not so much at the center. there were a few chunks of meat-tasting ingredients in it (I am guessing its shrimp). Other than that, it was entirely made of yam. It could get a little dry especially at the thickest areas but luckily the whole yam cake was not the thick kinds so eating it was not a chore.
