Original review at http://www.nahmj.com/2016/05/26/outback-steakhouse-singapore-tasting-menu/Outback Steakhouse isn't new to most. I am sure most must have visited once if not multiple. The restaurant has recently introduced a new Tasting Menu.First is the appetizer. Outback offers 4 mouthwatering appetizer choices which are all great for sharing as a group. The Shrimp and Avocado Ceviche ($14.90) which is the most well received among their customers and that include us too.Next is the Crispy Fried Mushroom ($13.90). When one bite into the mushroom, the juice of the mushroom started bursting out. Dipping into the spicy ranch dressing will elevate the tasting pleasure, provided you are one who like sauce. Otherwise the natural tasting flavour will be good enough. There are too many diners who loves their chicken and the Crispy Chicken Bites ($10.90) would suit them most. Likewise a sauce is prepared too. For this dish, it is with a spicy New Orleans sauce. The BBQ Pulled Pork Fries ($14.90) is a dish that received 2 thumbs up from each diner. Instead of having plain fries, this dish comes with additional ingredients such as pulled pork, cheese and spicy Ranch dressing to spicy things up.A total of 5 entrees available for selection with choices of beef, pork and pasta and prawns. On the list, being the first is the Black Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye ($37.90). The USDA ribeye is seared with peppercorn crust drizzled with balsamic topped with grilled asparagus and paired with peppercorn cream sauce.Another steak is The Porterhouse ($45.90) consisting of filet tenderloin and strip. This is a simple steak with nothing fanciful. Best when one prefer savouring the natural juicy fragrance of the beef.Having the best of both world is the Steak and Shrimp Skewers ($39.90). Diners could enjoy both the beef and prawns. For diners who love their steak and pasta could opt for the Steak Pomodoro Pasta ($24.90). The cavatappi pasta is topped with a pomodoro sauce that is slow cooked with steak and tomatoes. As such it is a tomato based pasta with flavourful beef scent. Before serving the dish is topped with basil and Parmesan cheese. This dish is suitable for the kids too.Should beef is not your preference, one could opt for the only non-beef dish on the Outback Steakhouse Singapore Tasting Menu, the Garlic Glazed Pork Loin ($25.90).All the dishes comes with either one or two sides whereby diners could choose from the available list of sides. In the Outback Steakhouse Singapore Tasting Menu, the only dessert available is the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under ($14.90). A relatively huge scoop of vanilla ice cream sat on a chocolaty brownie. This dessert is a little too sweet for me. It make a great sharing dessert for the adult and children in the family.Outback Steakhouse Singapore Tasting Menu consists of dishes suitable for the young and the old from the appetisers to entree to dessert. As such it is no doubt family friendly.More reviews at http://www.nahmj.com/  continue reading

Late lunch at steakhouse today. Ordered my favorite pork chop grilled , salad chicken and chilles chicken. The pork chops arrived in 20mins, serving size is more than one people. Wow, consists of fried fries, special sauce and 2 well cooked pork. Very well done and dip before eating was perfect timing. Salad is very fresh and mix with fried chicken slides. Together with thousand island sauce is very nice. Serving was fame big also. Ha... Last come of chill chicken maybe wrong name but refer to pictures. This taste have mixture of salty and sweet. First time try out and come in 5 in a plate. Afternoon high tea is good choice. Ending of my mango fruit chopper. The cup size still very BIG. Ha ha ha. More reviews available from www.umakemehungry.comFood industry in Singapore is getting more competitive nowadays as compared to before and having said that Outback Steakhouse is still one of the popular place among my clicks for steak. Besides having them at a more affordable pricing. let's check out our recent experience from Outback Steakhouse. While waiting for the orders, starters were provided. Bread was heated up and came with some margarine for us to pair with. The two plump cakes were highly raved by my pal. These cakes were packed of crabmeat, topped with basil and fresh tomatoes, also served with their special homemade remoulade sauce. Yummy!Outback Signature steaks are not to be missed over here. They are special and carved from USDA Choice Beef. We had the Outback Special, one of their signatures which was accentuated with the seasoned spices and seared to the perfect doneness we asked for. It comes with 6, 8, 10 oz starting at $28.90 with the difference of $2 for each weight. For each signature steak, you can choose two sides of your choice.Done with their secret 17 kinds of seasoning blend, chargrilled over the open flame, this 10oz of USDA ribeye was mouth watering delicious! Juicy and savoury.Another excellent choice will be their Baby Back ribs.Succulent and juicy, fork tender with flesh falling off the bone easily with little effort. The rack was simply delicious and filled with smokey flavours. The level of grilling skills was good enough to to obtained such standard with the BBQ sauce. Ribs come in the choice of half and full rack, served with thick cut fries. There was a one for one promotion going on with their fruit chillers and these chillers were made of fresh citrus juices and come in the choice of mango, raspberry or strawberry, finely blended with ice.Surprisingly, service was much more than I have expected. Servers were prompt and attentive to our waving. On top of that, they will also go around asking customers if the food is ok and understand how much they can improve on. With service standards differs from the cafe and other eateries, I would think twice coming back again! continue reading

Outback Steakhouse is where we usually go when we have cravings for steaks. We ordered our favorite ribeye with 2 sides (fries & sweet potato) & a Typhoon Bloom for our dinner today. All tables are served with a complimentary small chocolate loaf with butter. We love the extremely soft bread paired with the salted butter. It just makes you craves for more ;PTyphoon Bloom is a must to order if you love to eat onion rings. At Outback, the onions are hand cut, dusted with their very own seasonings, stacked high & cooked until golden. Oh wow, those crispy flavourful onions dipped in Outback signature bloom sauce, you can imagine how yummy & addictive they were! ;)Next, our main course - ribeye is cooked medium rare nicely. We love how the flavourful meat juices oozed out when we chewed on it. Heavenly! The fried sweet potato & fries were still hot & crispy. The food that we ordered is just right for two person to share, we were both very full after this hearty meal. Thumbs up for Outback food! We will be back again! =) continue reading

Full review and pics: http://dairycream.blogspot.sg/Comfort food at hearty portions sums up my overall experience at this America's largest steakhouse chain in the world. It is quite difficult to fault the Kookabura wings ($14.90) or the Typhoon Bloom ($14.90) for being too heavy on seasonings because it is probably staying faithfully to the U.S. recipe. However, I wondered if some spice rub has been forgotten as the "spicy" wings were merely very savoury, juicy but not spicy at all. Similarly, the deep fried onion rings did not "blow" me away with the grease and sogginess. Nonetheless, the blue cheese dressing and signature bloom sauce in both dishes respectively were rich, creamy and tasty. In fact, this was what happened to the Spinach Artichoke Dip ($13.90) which made it so difficult to resist from scooping the baked cheesy goodness with taco chips. Warm, fluffy with subtle honey-like sweetness from the molasses, the complimentary starter of wheat bush bread, was so delicious that it was wiped off the table in no seconds.... continue reading
