Actually you are paying for the lakeside view
Just OK 2013-02-19

I will say people going there actually are because of the restaurant location, which is just beside the marina reservoir. just opposite marina bay sands~~~~

order one drink , paying for like 10 dollars ( you can get this price during happy hour) , then you can enjoy the whole night there with great reservoir view, lazer show from marina bay sands. and the coach seat is comfortable

Dinner @ Overeasy
Smile 2012-04-25

Dinner @ One Fullerton's Overeasy - A nice place to chill out with your friends or loved ones...

Indoor (aircon) and alfresco (Smoking and non-smoking area)

by the time my partner and i was there, the alfresco non-smoking area which have the normal table seats are all occupied... only left the smoking area (tall tables with high stools) and you need to bear the occasion breeze of "not so fresh air" (if you know what i mean) haha.

Eggs Skillet (Scrambled eggs $16) overall wasn't really great.. just ok only...

Pan-seared Sea Bass with Spinach and Corn Risotto (Thumbs up, worth $26++) Spinach and Corn risotto really rich and nice... and the sea bass is just nice! worth the $26++ bucks...

Truffle Fries (Crunchy enough but it is a little too ex for just shoe string fries even though it is "truffle fries", although the portion is fairly big for $12)

White Peach Bellini Champagne (nice nice.. $21,) and IBC Root Beer Float ($10)

the good thing about sitting in the alfresco area is because you get to see the people walking by, and the view of Marina Bay sand is great too!

But service was a bit bad... i called for the bill for 3 times..

   Great! Must Try

Cheese dipped nachos
Smile 2012-03-31

We went to Overeasy to chill after work and there I ordered the nacho cheese dips. The chips go very well with the beer. The chips are crunchy and they taste really delicious dipped with the cheese. The price of $15 is rather steep for the plate of nachos. However, for the ambience of the place, it was worth the money.

Went to chill out and have dinner at Overeasy after work on Friday recently. Craving for Macaroni and cheese so ordered and gave it a try. TO my surprise, it really taste great. normally food in bars do not really taste good and comprises of mostly finger food. recommended to give it a try for those who have not. the price of the dish not very expensive only $ 12.90 and plus a drink during happy hour will only bring you to about $20. nice chill out on a friday.

The mini burgers served at Overeasy is a very interesting concept. It costs $1 for each mini burger which consists of beef patty and lettuce in between. The mini burger served as finger food and is relatively easy to munch. It tastes good as it is freshly baked from the oven. I like chilling at Overeasy as the ambience is great.

average joe is just nice, not too spicy
Smile 2011-11-29

i went to overeasy with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. We ordered a couple of food and drinks to share. we ordered the deviled eggs. It is really good. I love the way they handled the yorkke so delicious. they seasoned it perfectly as well! We ordered their wings. I insisted for level 2 average joe while some of my friends insisted on taking level 3 and boy did they regret. It was so spicy. My level two was just right. the chicken was tender and juicy, simply delicious. I ordered the mac and cheese. My favourite. Love the cheesiness of the macaroni. We ordered plenty more food, but these 3 were my favourite and must trys.

Came here for after-work drinks with my friends, and conveniently had my dinner here. Was ushered to the lounge area, which was cosy for drinks and conversation.

The menu has some quirky food names - "To Die For" Burger. Hahaha! Love these unique names. I ordered the "Super Club Sandwich", while one friend really ordered the "To Die For" Burger! Hahaha! The other friend got himself a Portobello Burger. We also ordered some Spicy Wings and could choose the spiciness level ranging from Wimp to Average Joe to Hot Stuff to something else. I'm not about to settle with the 1st 2 levels and we went ahead with "Hot Stuff"!

The Spicy Wings looked red hot! And I tell u, it was really spicy!!!! Thank God I had Heineken nearby to put out the fire in my mouth!!! And I only had 2-3 bites the whole night! Can't even finish off 1 drumlet! Oh, I have to mention that it was also too salty. Reminds me of Nando's, the spicier, the saltier!

My Super Club Sandwich was HUGE! I'm pretty sure it was meant for more than 1 pax. Nonetheless, the sandwich was DELICIOUS!!! It was served with tapioca chips in the middle but some parts of it were softened by the sauce from the sandwich. And, so much for my plan of ordering a sandwich so I could pinch on finger food later! I ate only 3 out of 4 sandwiches and couldn't even drink more cos' I was so full after that!!!

My friend who ordered the "To Die For" Burger said that it was really good. Ok, that's next on my to-try list!! As for the other who ordered the Portobello Burger, the burger was really cute!! There were 2 huge Portobello Mushrooms in his burger!!! I mean, I never knew Portobello Mushrooms were that huge! 2 could fill the area of a burger bread! Hahaha! lol

During Happy Hour, Heineken/Erdinger draught was going for 1-for-1 w UOB card. Really useful to tackle the spicy wings and fill up with human petrol! D

The ambience was really comfortable, though I kind of regretted not seating al fresco for the beautiful view. However, halfway through my drinks, there was a family who brought their kid in and sat at the lounge area too. I was really irritated as I don't believe I was drinking in a family restaurant!!! They really should set an age limit for this place. Thankfully, the family was ushered outside later. Spoiler!

Total Cost: Super Club Sandwich - $16
Heineken Draught (1-for-1) - $6

after dinner drinks
Just OK 2011-03-23

came here with colleagues after working nearby; love the view of the merlion (b4 it was boarded up) and the marina bay view.
was pretty crowded when we arrived close to midnight; but got a table quickly. the strawberry margarita i ordered wasn't too good- it didnt have enough alcohol in it and tasted more like a fruit punch than an alcoholic beverage.
crowd was pretty lively and fun too, so i guess that makes up for its not-so-good bevergaes.

Overeasy

Overeasy has a spectacular view of Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion which is just around the corner of the Esplanade and the beautiful water as its background.

It wasn’t my first time here, Overeasy is well known for its chic and lively crowd. I ordered the Strawberry Magarita which tasted good. The alcohol level wasn’t that high and it tasted more like a fruit punch. The Strawberry Magarita costs $13 ++.

I pretty much like the outdoor seating which overlooks the beautiful scenery. Seating was easy to find - outdoor benches and tables were available although the indoor seating was pretty much full up.

We arrived at 1am and there was still crowd around. Nice for a relaxing drink and chilling place with friends.

Overated...
Just OK 2010-11-16

After hearing many good reviews, my colleagues (aka food hunters) went to Overeasy to have a after-work gathering. It was cool for a drink, but it was really TOO DARK to eat burger... we could hardly figure out what we were poking at.

We ordered the "To Die For" burger and it was really just a burger... It doesn't make me wanna come back for it again. However the fries that came with it was really addictive ;) Just that we started to have ulcers very soon~

The chatting session after food was tough because we can't see the expression on each other in the dark & the dim light jus make us wanna sleep early...

The price vs food didn't make it feel it's worth it... hmm... maybe it's worth it if u calculate by kg cos it's a pretty big burger.

Addictive House Fries
Smile 2010-06-22

Here's where people can stuff themselves with fine American food and just have fun! I suspect Riverdale’s favourite deli has a franchise right in the heart of Singapore. Check the plush comfy seatings. Nice.

We shared the OverEasy Festive 3-course Dinner ($48++ person). For starters, we went with the potato and leek soup instead of a salad. Good choice because the soup was thick and creamy just the way I like it.

Mains, we had the Roasted Turkey Breast with Gravy. The turkey was served with the best mash potato I’ve ever tasted. Yes it’s even better than the Malaysia’s KFC version. OverEasy’s mash potato are fluffier, richer and creamier. SINFUL. I was telling Ken and Cheryl that I can finish a XXL tub of this perfect, lump-free, creamy mash potato. This is the best mash I’ve tasted so far. Turkey was fine but lack the gamey flavor. Liked the chivey gravy and cranberry jam!

smile

Our desert was the moist and juicy Apple Cobble! The diced apples were tender, warm and its golden brown crust was perfectly baked! It was a hit right away! I think there was a slight fragrant taste of cinnamon. It actually beats the truffle dessert I had at Pierside. Will definitely be back for this baby.

On top of the 3-course dinner, we got The Burger of the Month (Turkey Burger) that costs $21++. Burger was ok but the house fries was so addictive!
