Grab their 1 for 1 house pour during happy hours. Ordered the "To Die For" burger and is really good! I like the combination of the sauce and burger. My partner ordered the truffle, but i still prefer mine instead. Had the beef slider too as the waiteress told us that the slider is 1 for a dollar only so we ordered 2 tried. Beef slider was mediocre, but not too bad for the cheap deal! The service was prompt and the atmosphere for the restuarant/bar is really nice for some chillax session with friends after a heavy day. continue reading

Made reservations on Chope and got a 1-for-1 burger deal. We came here on a weekday. Ordered Big Blue ($24++) and The Truffle ($26++). Since we got the deal, we were only charged $26++ for two burgers. Alcohol is pretty expensive, but there was 1-for-1 too for their draught beer before 8 pm or something. Erdinger was $17 per pint. The burgers were awesome. Too bad they are too pricey without the deal. It would had cost almost $100 for 2 pax, which in my opinion, is not worth it. It's good, but not good enough for the price tag. continue reading

As we walked into OverEasy, the quirky North American Diner interior was stark and pleasant to look at -- setting the overall laid-back ambience of the place. The bar was beautiful with all the liqueurs and miscellaneous alcoholic drinks neatly arranged against the bar back wall.We were seated on a classic red sofa booth, reminiscent of the iconic 'Tipping' scene in 1992's Reservoir Dogs.We started our meal with a Santa Fe Chicken Noodle Soup ($12). The soup was surprisingly refreshing and delicious, in contrast to its physical appearance. The avocado slices inside actually complemented the soup perfectly. The Chilli Cheese Fries ($16) were delicious and the Chilli itself was a tad bit spicier than the more classic tasting ones I've had before. The Mac & Cheeks ($24)was good but not fantastic. However, the beef cheeks fall apart beautifully and was really tasty. The cheese itself was alright but not worth mentioning. This is their level 10 spicy wings ($18). Tasted just like biting into chilli padi. Honestly, it was bearable for people who can handle heat. The great thing was that the intense spices did not over power the actual taste of the wings which were delicious. The Sea Bass ($28) was seasoned well and paired up well with the corn polenta. However, it was not the best thing we had. Safe choice for those who are less adventurous. The spicy linguine ($22) had a very unique taste. It was not creamy but it was not dry. This was made possible by the cheese that was tossed with it. The shrimps were slighly overcooked and had a very slight rubbery texture of frozen freshwater prawns. The highlght of the meal was the truffle burger ($28). Although the burger patty itself was more overcooked that I would normally prefer, it was seasoned to perfection. Paired up with the soft Brioche buns, makes a perfect and filling entree. Grilled Chicken Burger ($20) with bacon and lettuce. Tasted average. Nothing that surprised or intrigued me. The chicken was tad overcooked as it was breast meat. Famous Beef Sliders ($16) were way overcooked. Tough to chew on. Pity because the taste was actually pretty good. Nothing can go on with waffles! These are $12 and contain mixed berries and a dollop of vanilla ice cream.Chocolate Milkshake ($12) was delicious and really thick and creamy. Not for the faint-hearted. (P.S. you can have this spiked with a shot of alcohol upon request -- makes for a perfect camouflage)The Bourbon Donuts ($12) were my favourite. Piping hot donuts dipped in hot fudge. What's not to love?  continue reading

Been wanting to come and due to i Light Marina Bay event which i wanted to go with my friend, we decided on this place for dinner. I've already heard it's popular with after work crowd and true enough when i reach around 6.30pm, already got small crowd at the outdoor area enjoying the happy hour promotion. My friend and i started off with the Happy Hour promotion 1 -1 Erdinger! Super shiok cause i was feeling hot while walking to OverEasy. I decide to try burger for my first visit and i opt for the recommended one by the staff - The "To Dir For" Burger $20 + $2 top up for a sunny side up! This was pretty good and satisfying with a good portion. The fries was quite nice too! May opt for outdoor seats for my next visit and for those who like to chill out after work but haven't been here yet, it's time to plan a visit =) continue reading

Whether one chooses the air-conditioned interior with warm and comforting hues or the breezy outdoors offering breathtaking views of Marina Bay Sands, Over Easy exudes a unique charm of its own like no other. It is always bustling with after-work crowds and hearty music, allowing its patrons to unwind and totally relax. By night, especially, the laser shows opposite adds enchantment to Over Easy, hence it is good to chill alfresco. We started with their Handcut Haystack Fries with Parmesan & Rosemary - seen many people ordering it. The golden-ness of the fries looked very enticing, and they were very crispy. Sprinkled with rosemary and parmesan cheese, the fries were rather delicious, and good for munching over drinks. Then we also tried their other signature - Cheesesteak Sliders - mini little burgers that were delicious. The sweet bread were crispy and melted in the mouth, the melted cheese an added touch of deliciousness to the very tender, medium rare mini beef patties. It took me 4 to 6 bites to polish one off, nibbling slowly, but I believe there are those who could just pop these bite-size delicacies in one or two mouthfuls. For more detailed information and photos, do feel free to visit::http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2014/02/chillout-at-over-easy.html continue reading
