I love Mee Chiang Kuehs and usually have them for breakfast or as a snack! After having heard of this stall at Maxwell hawker selling the Pandan flavoured skin pancakes, I knew I had to try it someday! As I was around the vicinity, I drop by the stall and bought a peanut and coconut pancake! This style of pancake is the round shaped ones and each cost only 50 cents! I ate the peanut one first and was disappointed that I couldn't taste any pandan flavour. However, as I ate the coconut pancake, I could taste the pandan flavour! I guess the peanut overpowered the pandan. Anyway, the coconut is too bland and I prefer the peanut pancake! ;)

I have been eating this pan cake since my first job in this area about 10 years ago. My boss always brought this back for our afternoon snack, and i started eating it since then.The texture is moist and soft, and the amount of peanuts is always generous, and even after so many years, it is still one of the cheapest pancake around. Where can you get another pancake at 0.50 cents in such a prime location?Try this out and you are gonna love it!
