Pie Kia

Mum came back with a box of pies with different flavours including some of the localized ones like the roasted chicken pie. That is not my favourite one though. I still prefer the original chicken pie. The filling is the usual chicken chunks with potato and carrot. It would be even better if they have a bit more chicken than just potato and carrot. The crust has got a very slight buttery taste. Good choice for snack.

Brought a beef pie as a snack during late afternoon.
The pie pastry is well made and baked. It has a light, flaky, crispy and a light buttery taste. They uses alphabetic symbol to indicate the flavour of the pie. The beef fillings include mashed potato and beef. It has a soft texture, well seasoned and a light beef taste. However, I think that the texture of the beef fillings is a bit too soft for me as I would prefer it to be a little bit chunky and also to have a stronger beef flavour. Their pie comes in a wide variety of flavours such as mushroom chicken, sardine and many more. Price is reasonable and the pie taste good.

I brought a box of pies using a Voucher. Most of their pies are in the bite-sized, a good size for snack. I bought quite a few flavours: mushroom chicken, beef, black pepper chicken etc. The black pepper chicken is the nicest among all. The filling has a mixture of chicken, mushroom and potato. The taste of black pepper is not overwhelmed but just right. It would be even nicer if there is more chicken in it as i can hardly taste any but mainly the taste of mushroom and potato.

quite a fan of chili and when i saw pie kia also have its own version of chili, i definitely have to get one to try. the chili was very different from the one that i had at wendy's, over here they give bread stick and i think it also tasted quite nice with the chili. the chili itself was much more meaty than wendy's which i prefer latter which is a more beany version

This was not my first experience in trying the pies from Pie Kia. The past experiences were a pleasant ones. I decided to get a chicken pie this time. The chicken pie was quite small in size. I will need at least 2 to feel satisfied. The filling has got some chunks of chicken meat and mixed vegetable like corn, carrot in it. The crust got a nice buttery taste. It is a good snack and i liked it.

Having a chicken pie for lunch definetly an old school kind of lunch. that is, you can taste the butter in everything - the mashed potatoes, and the vegetables to boot.

Pie Kia with its unique name was in town for quite some time and some never even notice. they have variety of pies for everyone's different craving. Their crust are so crispy and flaky. What i like the most they often serve it hot and fresh everyday!

It is also a good choice to have for pot luck party, not too filling yet scrumptious!

Whenever you pass by this stall you will be assaulted by the nice buttery aroma coming out from this stall which only tempt you to try out the pies. I order the small roasted chicken pie
as i love chicken pie. The crust was quite buttery and fluffy which was quite tasty. I was disappointed with the filling, instead of tasting like normal chicken pie, the filling tasted similar to char siew pow filling. The quantity of the filling is also pathetic.

i purchase this pizza from pie kia outlet from amk. This is how the pizza look like. I like the taste of the pizza. I don't really like the combination of green lantern with kidney bean. I do have to say that i like the unique taste of this pizza. Its not really spicy as well. However, the price maybe a concern judging by the portion of this pizza.

A roasted chicken pie from Pie Kia. I expected it to be better but ended up feeling disappointed after my first bite. The crust was slightly buttery and fluffy but the filling tasted more like char siew then chicken. It was quite similar to those within the char siew pau. I might try their other pies but will be gladly to skip this one.

the pie is very crispy,with a very strong nice butter fragant
the chicken inside is not much but taste chewy

Super love these pie ! Had these like almost everyday during lunch time at my previous workplace . When it just opened I didn't really go and try their pie for I'm not a lovers for pie just occasionally will buy chicken pie from pola and puff , however after my first pie treated by my friend , I can't stop raving it to my friend how nice is their pie , and not forgetting to get one pie each time I passby , tried their mini pizza too , but not too my liking though.

Pie Kia is a new local brand from the Old Chang Kee group and they are mostly situated at heartland spots. It could be located with just your scent of smell nearby as the strong fragrant of pies baking in the oven, it lingers around the shop area. They've regular as well as mini-sized pies, the latter will cost only a dollar each. Flavors range from ham n cheese to sardine to black pepper chicken and more bold ones such as mango & pear. Tried the mini ham n cheese the other day and I'd say it was pretty okay. It's good that they do sell bite-sized pieces unlike common pie shops, not many people these days would want to finish a regular-sized pie at one go for simply an after-lunch snack.
