I went there to have a simple lunch, passed by the stall and decided to order. The stall appeared new and clean, chef was a guy. Menu was plentiful, I took a look and placed my order. Their business hour was from 11:30AM to 2:30PM for lunch and 5:00PM to 10:00PM for dinner. Unfortunately, the noodle was too wetly mushy, not too nice about the texture. Don’t know whether the chef put in too much of water, or it was the original style of their cooking. A little greasy, maybe it was too oily and salty. Seafood was little, no prawn given. $4.00 was inexpensive, but the quality was not there. If you asked me, I am not going to revisit it again. continue reading

I was there to take away a packet of fried pineapple rice for $4.50. I was one of their few customers during the busy lunch hour. I waited for less than 10 minutes to collect my order. I was surprised to see the assistant using his bare hand to grab the pineapple bits from a container that he took it out from the fridge. Is it appropriate for this assistant to handle the ingredients with a bare hand?It was a little disturbing to me. The main cook and his female assistant are rather friendly though. The taste of the Pineapple Fried Rice was rather average. The main ingredients were bits of pineapple, the over-fried chinese sausage and the low quality pork floss that packed separately. I was not sure whether there is any egg in it as i could hardly taste any. The overall taste was not distinctive. It is not quite worth the $4.50 paid.Am i expecting too much?It was a disappointing lunch. continue reading
