Pluck

If you're there on a Sunday afternoon, don't be disheartened if Pluck isn't opened exactly at the time that the opening hours is stated.
Not sure if it's a common thing or if it just happened on that weekend, but Pluck wasn't open till mid-afternoon.

Seats do fill up quickly though and luckily the lady who was serving was quite patient in our inability to make choices. Finally opted for the Lychee Martini & Soursop. I really like fruity flavors so I was glad when the ice cream did not taste overly sweet. The ice cream did not melt super quickly and the seating area is small but rather quaint.

Definitely was refreshing on a hot day, however, be aware that not many stores were opened on Sunday at Arab Street.

It was a hot sunny afternoon at Haji Lane shopping! Popped into this shop which serves ice cream as a side business with a portion of the shop set aside with chairs and tables. They serve desserts like fudge cakes and brownies. I ordered a brownie with ice cream on top. It was really mouth watering! The brownie was re-heated in the microwave oven and there was melted chocolate all around. Eaten together with the ice cream, the hot cold sweet combination was really perfect!

My wife ordered Kaya Sundae to share
The Kaya Sundae -coconut swirl ice cream, kaya and biscuit pieces. This was quite interesting and pretty light, because it wasn’t too sweet or rich.
Worth to come here for a try!!

Whats a trip to Haji Lane with great and delicious icecream from Pluck? On one of our girls' days out, me and the girls decided to pop down to Haji Lane. After an hour or two, we were tired and looked for a place where we could prop up our feet and chill. Craving for some good ice cream on a hot day, we decided to head to Pluck where they had a wide variety of ice cream flavours. We tried the Earl Grey with Figs ice cream. It was really good with the strong taste of Earl Grey tea.
