I ordered a bowl of wanton noodle dry, which cost about 3 dollars.Surprisingly there's 2 dumplings added in the soup, which usually when u ordered dry, u only get 2 wanton on the noodle and just a bowl of soup, but now total got 2 fried n 2 in soup ( or maybe is just me not exploring too much ) the dumplings and wantons are in bite sizes so it really easy to eat it in one mouth, they taste nice and tasty but the soup is a little oily but not overly, and soup was normal.Another thing is the people at the stall are quite friendly (: continue reading

used to eat it at cheaper price last time, and now it increased price by a little. ordered the number 2, black soya sauce with no chilli and requested to have the noodle to be cut. the serving is quite small if big eater might not be full and it comes with 2 fried wanton and a soup with 2 wanton. can special request if you don't like soup or dry wanton. like their fried wanton, crispy and nice. overall, nice but small portion. continue reading

After the renovation and upgrading work completed for Kovan Food Centre, Pontian Wanton Mee has moved into the new sparkling clean food centre. Pontian Wanton Mee has a history of 60 years and it has been aggressively expanding its business into many food centres in recent years. The noodle was springy but the char siews were dry and thin. The fried wanton was also rather small. Overall I think Pontian Wanton Mee is quite average and the portion was rather small. continue reading

Talking about Pontian, there used to have a pontian craze where popped out many outlets in singapore whereby thety are famous for wanton mee in black sauce and their crispy fried wanton. I'm a fan of wanton mee and have tried pontian wanton noodles in AMK hawker center years ago and it was great. I've decided to try out the kovan outlet as all my colleagues are fans of pontian wanton noodles. The noodles are Q and springy, well tossed with black sauce. It's full of lard taste. Good! The char siew here are too lean for mi, would prefer something with abit of fats for that chewy texture. Quite abit of Q during lunch time! continue reading

One Sunday morning, the whole family woke up quite early. My parents asked me whether we want to join them for breakfast. I asked them want to go Hougang Market & Food Centre to have Wanton Noddles and they replied okie. We start to get ourself change and drove there. There are alot of people in the food centre and I queue up for about 5 mins to order 4 bowls of wanton noodles. Overall, i think the food tase not too bad and price are very affordable. continue reading
