It is quite late, but I am thinking of having a bite so come here. I order the latest item Garlic Pepper Wicked Chicken.Garlic Pepper Wicked Chicken ($5.90)
Served with Garlic Parmesan Dipping Sauce.
I like its hearty and flaky buttermilk biscuits, but this one here seems to be very hard compare to usual. The Cajun Fries is very crispy and flavourful. The chicken is not bad, garlicy and crispy.

Received a popeyes pamphlet through my mail box and inside the pamphlet consist of many coupons at discounted prices for their food items. I picked the five bonafide chickens coupon, five, sounds worth it though. Opted all five chickens to spicy.
Popeyes bonafide chickens are juicy and not too oily,but the juciness only applies to drum parts.
I should have requested more drum parts as out of the five bonafide chickens, two are drum parts and three are breast parts.
I don't like eating breast part, unless they are like very juicy and tender, but its quite hard to achieve that.
So, in the end, I only ate the two drum parts and the remaining breast parts to my parents.

As a fast food restaurant specialising in fried chickens, Popeye’s burgers/sandwiches can never be compared to those burgers specialised fast food restaurants. Its buns are too flat, too soft and kind of soggy. I had rather they use those hamburger buns sold commercially.
As for the patty, they used breast meat, I wish they use thigh meat instead, like McDonald's. I pulled out the two big slices of tomato before eating as I do not like to eat tomatoes.

Craving for some rice, I decided to order Popeye’s Cajun rice platter. The portion is just nice for a light or medium eater, but definitely not for heavy eaters or well built guys. Its portion is like those coffee shops' chicken rice except that is combined with a fried chicken instead of white chicken slices and is of course more expensive.
The rice has a butter rich taste, it is nice to eat at first, but after some mouthfuls, one can get sick of it as it is too buttery.
Fried chicken wise, I chose spicy, I like my foods to be on the spicy side.

First time eating their chicken burger. The burger got tomato, lettuce and fried chicken patty with sauce. The chicken patty tasted nice. A bit crispy and warm. I can taste the real chicken in it. The burger is quite small so not very filling. I ordered a set so it came with drink and french fries for $4.50. I will stick to eating their delicious fried chicken next time.

Popeyes my all time fav fried chicken,Their chicken was very crispy,well marinated,Chicken meat was tender,but the one in amk outlet was abit hard also not crispy enough,i think it depend on outlet,as changi airport one is still the best,As usual i will ask for non spicy & they gave me,but this time i see the cashier a bit blur,so i told twice i want non spicy & when they serve me i double check with him again ,is it non spicy & he told me "actually our spicy chicken just a bit spicy only,"
but i insist that i want non spicy,so i had to said 4-5times to get my non spicy chicken which i was a bit unhappy

I love the crispy and crunchy little bread with sweet strawberry jam so much! I might fall in love and desire to have it in every single day meal! The fries were very different from the rest of any fast food fries that I have ever taste. This fries has an indescribable unique taste that you will never know how to explain. But of cource, it has that crispy and potato-ish taste;) My chicken wasn't that fatastic as I has been expected but yeah, it's a bit dry to me

I enjoy eating fried chicken. After tried it from different fastfood chains and this is my preferred choice. I still remember eating at their one and only outlet at Changi Airport a few years ago. It is definitely a good news when they still decided to expand to many outlets now. Their fried chickens have yet to let me down though i have encountered a few unpleasant services. Their fried chicken came in slightly bigger pieces and less oily. It still tasted good even after left it for a few years. I am a fan of their breast meat. I always paid the extra 0.50 cents to change its other parts to breast meat. The breast meat still have its tenderness and juiciness intact even after having deep fried. Good choice.

The chicken was well marinated and well fried. The portion was big too. It was very crispy outside, and the meat inside was juicy and yet tender. However, the spicy chicken was nowhere near my standard of "spiciness" and I would have hoped if it could be spicier and hotter, the better. Anyway, well done! I think the chicken was good, better than KFC.

The biscuit bread was bland but when you have applied the jam onto it and eat it, it "suddenly" became so tasty and it was such a good match.

The Cajun fries was ok, though some of them were slightly over fried and a bit burnt. But they tasted fine too. However, I still prefer the fries from McDonalds.

Service was ok. Despite of the long queue, we could order and receive our orders within given timing. In addition, crew also cleared tables promptly.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen sells fried chicken as what Kentucky fried chicken do, but my friends claimed that Popeyes chicken is nicer which I don't really agree. Anyway Popeyes chicken is not that bad, the skin is crisply fried, with some flavourings, and the meat is tender and a bit oily. For KFC, the batter has some kind of special recipe which make me love it more. For Popeyes, I always love their mashed potato because of the gravy. The gravy is different from the other, having some minced meat and with a tinge of spiciness.

2pcs Chicken Combo Meal - The chicken, lightly coated in batter, was moist and succulent. However, it was too salty for my liking. The good thing was that the chicken wasn't oily. The biscuit was delightful, as always. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, the slightly salty biscuit was balanced in flavour by Smucker's strawberry jam given on the side. Yum! However, as compare with chicken, I think the fish is more tender and soft

well i came here with my mum for lunch... we share the 5 pieces chicken during their promotion.. it was worth it.. we had the spicy type..

well it was not that spicy.. perhaps just for the taste.. i would say that it was juicy and not the dry type of fried chicken.. taste great with their thai chili sauce

we love Popeye and hope to have more again

I ordered 2 piece chicken. chicken is well marinated & the chicken flesh is really tender and moist. Skin of the chicken is really very very crispy !! The best chicken that i ever tried before !!

The mash potato is awesome too!! The gravy is different from KFC's. Nice!

My friend bought Popeye's voucher,so we decide to eat together.The skin is crispy and i like the spiciness.It is nice.
But KFC one is nicer.For me,as i eat more,i feel like the skin tastes nicer.
I more prefer chicken wing than drumstick,because drumstick is more oily.
The meat is also quite soft,for me,it's meat is nicer than KFC one. Can see that this mashed potato is very special right?
It seem like fake shark fin soup right..??
It taste quite nice,i don't know how to explain it.The taste of it,i ate before,just i can't say that what is that.
Worth to have a try.

I love Popeye's mashed potatoes! The gravy is thick and it's chilli flakes make it taste so good! Take every scoop in your mouth and have it 'melt' in it, it is that soft! If they could add some pepper in it, boy I wonder how well it will taste along with the gravy.

Popeye's to me, serves up the best and tastiest fried chicken around town, and together with their cajun fries and AMAZING unique mashed potato, it is sure to win your heart as well The mashed potatoes is special coz it is the only one with chunks of other tasty ingredients inside that make eating it so worthwhile Not to forget, their buttermilk biscuits are pretty awesome too!
