I happened to be in Bugis area (Liang Seah Street to be exact) and my fren recommended this Thai resturant to me. In case you are not aware, this is opened by a TCS Host aka Pornsak. Beside to satisfy my idol chasing crave, I thought, why not Thai food for a change? KekeIt's rather a small place and easily filled up with hungry diners during the lunch hours. Food wise, selection is not a lot but fair enough. We ordered a few dishes to share among the two of us.. Stir Fried Pork with Garlic - $8.90Very home-styled, no misses but nothing spectacular neither...Lemongrass Chicken (3 pcs) - $7This was more unique, with a very strong aroma of lemongrass, reminded me of my spa session. Haha Deep Fried Tofu with Thai Sauce - $4.90This was cheap and good. The tofu was crispy outside and smooth inside. Coupled with the sweet and sour sauce, nice! Sticky Rice Mango - $8.80This got to be my favourite. If I'm to revisit, I will definitely order the sticky rice mango again. I met up with my good friend and we had Thai food for dinner! This is their first outlet, which is conveniently located 5 mins away from Bugis Mrt station. For drinks, we a herbal Iced Roselle Lime drink and the must order Cha Yen (Thai Iced Milk Tea)! Also, when you dine in at a Thai restaurant, Tom Yum soup is a must order! They serve the authentic clear version of Tom Yum, which is flavoured with fragrant lemongrass, fresh galangal root and kaffir lime leaf. Phad Thai is a popular noodle dish in Thailand and this one is covered with omelette. I love to mix my it with peanuts! We ended off our dinner with a traditional Thai dessert, the Mango sticky rice! The mangoes were fresh and I love the pairing of savoury coconut milk and sweet sticky rice! Overall, great food, ambience and company! continue reading

Passed by Porn's and decided to give it a try. I ordered the lunch set, comprising of stir-fried chicken with garlic and rice, and a drink. The food smells very good, especially with the company of garlic. The chicken is very soft and tender, and it tastes very yummy! The sauce is very tasteful, not too salty, and it goes very well with the chicken and rice. My friend had the deep fried chicken, it is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Tastes very good too! We shared a kangkong, the kangkong smells very good but tastes ordinary though. Had a good lunch! continue reading

Specially came here for thai food as I heard that pornsak is the owner of this restaurant! Somehow i got certain expectations of the food here, maybe because he is from thailand lol We ordered Tom Yum Soup ( thick base ) , Fried chicken and kang kong. All of them are pretty average, nothing to be fantastic about. The tom yum soup is a bit too spicy in my opinion, other than that it is good. The kang kong isn't very tasty like those i had in nakhon kitchen. But I'm not really sure that ingredient it lack off too. Fried chicken can be more well marinated. The total bill come up to around $30 for 2pax, which i think is still quite affordable. Overall, I may be back in future to try other dishes. continue reading
