QQ noodles house located at bugis area recommended by lot of medias , reviews so we decided to try the noodles

The restaurant serves not only noodles , as well as rice such sambal fried rice , side dishes such as wu xiang , deep fried wanton etc and drinks . Lot of choices to choose from

But the restaurant is a bit warm when it get crowded . You have to made the order and pay at the cashier before you are served .

The wanton mee is indeed qq and springy and blend well with the chilli and sauce . The wanton is crispy and the meat tender . The char siew is not fatty meat and tender .

Recommended Dish(es):
wanton mee

Q~Q Noodle

The QQ noodles were nice, springy and well cooked. The sauces blended well with the noodles. In terms of ingredients, they have char siew (nice), minced pork, dumpling (ok but pathetically so small), one pork ball and one fish ball (the pork ball was ok but the fish ball was bland and soft and not chewy). For me it is not enough for such small portion, I have to ask for the bigger bowl with additional charge.

I do like this place, just opposite Bugis Junction. But $6(Add More noodles) for a bowl of noodles here is kind of pricey eh?

The noodles taste not bad and its springy but it’s kind of salty, like there was MSG in it. Most probably a good bowl of bak chor mee at a decent stall could beat this in value and taste.

Other than that I did enjoy the food here. I give the ambience a plus and maybe the Hor Fan was not bad But other than that, a meal at a decent tze char or bak chor mee stall is more worth it.

Ambience wise... well when I was there a few times, it wasn't a popular place. I tick what I wanted on the paper, go to the counter, pay and wait for my food. I like eating in a quiet establishment.

i went to the bugis temple and pray with my family. After praying we wanted to have our lunch at the nearby market foodcourt but it was so pack and hot,hence we deceided to settle our lunch at QQ house which is air condition and less crowded. We ordered BBQ chicken rice, fried wanton,mini port noodle and meatball soup. The price is reasonable, and consider cheap. I love the wanton, is crispy and they are quite generous in the filling. The meatball soup was quirte blend. I like the bbq chicken sauce very tasty and salty.

Best noodles!
Smile 2011-06-15

Everytime me and my friends are out at Bugis, we would never fail to stop by QQ noodle house to have lunch/dinner! Their noodles are one of a kind and different from those tasted at hawker centres in Singapore.

This is their house special which we ordered.

The noodle is bouncy and chewy.. and the sauce has been adjusted so that it has just the right amount of taste. I love the noodles they have here! It has a touch of those found in Malaysia and has a distinct flavour to it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone around the Bugis area!
