Ras the Essence of India

Had a good lunch at Ras the Essence of India! We ordered the Butter Chicken which was generous with alot of chicken slices while the sauce is thick and creamy but not overpowering such that it covered the natural sweetness of the chicken. They gave rice and the naan bread to eat with the gravy. Awesomeness! I really love their food! Their basmati rice was also nicely cooked, fluffy and fragrant.

This is the most expensive indian meal i ever had.

Had dinner here with my voucher given by friend, total bill comes up to sgd60 and not enough to fill our tummy. We ordered lamb briyani, which taste quite good as the rice are not too oily, a dessert which is over sweet for my liking, i cant even finish it! and a pot of curry to eat with the briyani.

I have higher expectation from this place, indoor atmosphere are creepy, the light are not bright enough and u cant even see what you eating! food portions are small and too pricey for such indian food.

This is one place where i had the best Garlic Prawn in Singapore.
