they had a promotion going on at ang mo kio hub. decided to try out their crabs and bee hoon. they also have some fried buns to come along with the crabs. but the buns is not hot and crispy. it display there cold. their salted egg flavor was not really satisfied with it as it is not much sauces and also warm. their white and black bee hoon was also taste normal to me. shall consider again going to their outlet to dine.

decided to try out the vegetarian dinner. ordered some simple dishes as i am a tofu lover, so i ordered tofu and some vegetables. was quite a big pack, suitable for those big eaters. but it is also quite expensive for such a simple meal thou it is vegetarian. i like their tofu as it taste very good and the sauce is also very nice. for the vegetable it is still alright to me. but too expensive, wont go for revisit.

so happy that finally ang mo kio hub opens gelare cafe ! like we dont have to go till town for half-price waffle tuesday! as the location was quite small, so it might take some time to get a seat especially tuesday! went for the half-price promotion, ordered waffle with mable syrup and cookies and cream! the serving takes about 10mins plus/minus and due to we're new there we are not sure to make payment at the cashier or can ask for bill. the guy is nice enough to explain and even help us to pay since we dont have to walk over. good service!

this is still not my favourite nasi lemak, but compared to nearer distance to my house, it is. location wise is not easily spotted either had to bus from yishun or sembawang ( i think ) . price wise is still okay, the drumstick is about 2 bucks. weekends or rather dinner time, it will be full of people and long queue. ended sometime might have to wait about 10-15mins. they've alot of dishes to choose from, but i think it's the same everyday.

wanted to have a brunch, so went to 313 coffee bean and had some cakes with drinks. took quite some time to had a seat due to weekends. there are some studying and weekends always packed. bought a slice of tiramisu cake and a cup of tea. first time ordering cake from them, it taste okay still. like the chocolate chips at the side, and their cream is thick. overall, for simple brunch it is still not bad.

went to dine with my parents and boyfriend. as my mum is a chilli lover, so bring her to try this. my all time favorite nasi lemak, cheap and super nice! but the bad point is that it is too far from where i am staying. if not im sure gonna eat and eat! for 4 plates it cost around 15plus ( cant remember the exact price) the chilli there was super power and nice match with the rice.

recommend boyfriend to this dim sum place. the day we went isnt really crowded and easily get a seat. at the side of the table also attached a service bell for order taking or ask for bill. given wet tissue but we give it back to save the 20cents each piece. so we ordered custard salted egg yolk bao each $1.20 and it taste super nice and when you open it up, it flow out. and we also ordered Double Boiled Spare Ribs w/Watercress Soup. the soup is quite small portion. overall, worth the money and taste nice!

saw this tv show promoting this pork chop rice, decided to go down and try how supreme it taste! location wise not hard to find quite near to bugis area. wanted to try the chicken chop fried rice, but still ended ordered their signatured dish ' pork chop rice ' serving is quite fast. not too expensive for a meal. finding a place to seat some area might have no fan and kind of hot. overall, it really taste very good! and bad point is it tends to be cold very fast and not so crispy. but still thumbs up! (:

You do not get to find too many good prawn fritters and ngor hiang stalls around these days. And, this stall is definitely amongst the above average stalls around.

I still come back regularly whenever i am in need a fix of good prawn fritters or ngor hiang or some of those fried stuffs. The prawn fritter and ngor hiang are the star. Other items like fried yam roll, prawn roll, fried spring roll or even fried tau twa are the must order for me every time.

Their specially made chilli sauce complemented all these fried items and fried bee hoon well. They added in the grounded peanut and chopped onions to further enhance the taste.

Their standard and quality of foods have been rather consistent all these years.

went to try out this tak po dim sum at chinatown due to friend's recommendation, decided to try out what she recommend. and it's really yummy! as for the price it is quite reasonable, not too expensive. the aunties there was very friendly also. heard that their 蛋挞 is super nice, but we tried too many and was full cannot squeeze in anymore. shall go back next time!

Chanced upon this restaurant and by seeing mostly native Japanese customers, I thought to myself that it will not go wrong since the Japanese themselves are patronizing this place. As I wasn't feeling hungry then, I opted to order their Oden-oden, something which is like our Chinese version of Yong Tau Foo. I was surprised with the portion given as I initially thought that there will be just a few pieces of oden inside. The soup is heavenly, definitely the best I had so far after trying out so many places. No MSG, sweetness came from the original ingredients used to boil together with the soup. A very comforty food for me.

Crispy fried fish with baked potato and mac and cheese, $9.50. Very big fish, worth the money!

Chargrill chicken with french fries and garden veggie, $8.90. The chicken happened to be a little hard but still considered alright to me. French fries never go wrong and garden veggie's juicy!

Grill fish with herb with corn on the cob and garden veggie, $9.50. Corn is super duper sweet!!!!!!!!

Hickory BBQ chicken with onion rings and mashed potato, $8.90. Onion rings make good company with chicken.

Attending the Mother's Day Dinner at Nee Soon East CC. The first 3 dishes are served very fast. We are barely finished when the next dishs turn up. The servings are all quite big. We are all very full when we are half way through the meal. By the time the fried rice in lotus leaf is served, we asked the aunty to pack it up for takeaway. Really cannot take in anymore. We ends the meal with the usual hot mashed yam for dessert. The food tastes okay but getting too common as they are always the same dishes. Service is poor, difficult in getting attention of the aunties.

Baker & Cook is Singapore’s only true artisan bakery & foodstore. Pretty lightings, small cozy area and a wide range of breads for bread lovers. Simple word menu. Short and sweet, unlike those thick booklets with many pictures and a whole chunk of flowery words to read from.

$5; The lemon tart is very refreshing.

$13; Salmon tartine. The portion is just right, the salmon is a lot and the bread and garlic underneath it just goes so well together. MUST TRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

received a box of wedding cakes from my friend whose wedding is upcoming. the box was in a nicely box with wordings ' our wedding and couple bears ' and the cakes design was so beautiful and cute. love to eat those cake as it's simple and nice. like the strawberry flavour one compared to yam maybe i'm not a yam eater. haha. overall worth to try out their simple cakes.
