   Risotto

The Mushroom Risotto was awesome. It tasted really good. The rice had a buttery taste and you would just want to eat more and more of it. The portion seems small but I actually shared it with another friend of mine. I really like their risotto.

   Pizza

The pizza was so-so. I like that the crust was thin. However it was really difficult to eat and there were too much vegetables on it. Overall, the food was good. I won't mind eating here again.

Really skinny pizza!
Smile 2013-03-03

I ordered a plate of seafood pasta and a squid ink pizza. the pasta was so-so, not fantastic.. For the squid ink pizza, the crust is really thin and crispy.. I love the salad on top.. It goes well with the pizza. Also, they are not stingy with the portion of the squids. Overall, it is a good experience and I would not mind going back again to try the other pizzas......

English Breakfast Pizza
Just OK 2013-01-31

Was at Skinny Pizza on a Monday evening, and was seated within seconds by attentive staff.

Decided to go with an English Breakfast Pizza for a party of 2, and when it was served, it was a sight - their signature thin crisp crust barely visible under a blanket of wild rocket, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms as well as sliced and seemingly dehydrated cheese strips. The pizza was then topped with a perfectly postioned sunny side up smack in the middle.

   The English Breakfast Pizza 24$

Perhaps we weren't entirely accustomed to the concept of having a thin pizza crust, having grown up with the regular pan pizzas, but it sure felt like we were eating pizza toppings off a tortilla chip. As for the toppings, the mushrooms were delightful and cooked just perfectly to retain moisture yet avoid being mushy; not a fan of the bitter wild rocket; and the rest of the toppings were average.

Have heard good things about their Squid Ink Pizza and I just might be back to give Skinny Pizza another shot at impressing me.

Pizza, here i come!
Smile 2013-01-21

Food
I have never heard of skinny pizza until my friend invited us here for a gathering. We are dining in a group of 4. While waiting for everyone to gather, we ordered the following sides:

Harissa Prawns - $6
Nice prawns, chewy feeling. Abit spicy though.

1/2 Metre Long Sausage - $12
Taste different, more like a home made sausage and quite thin in size. Available in beef, chicken and pork.

Sweet Potato Nibblets - $7
Love the fragrance from these sweet potatoes. Nice choice if you want to replace fries.

Wild Truffled Mushroom - $24
This is da bomb! Love how the mushrooms go wild in this dish together with the "grasses"! Thin crust pizza. Not so oily and a very favorable for us.

The Elegant Black Pepper Prawn Linguine - $25
Tasty linguine served with big prawns. Its hard to get the prawn meat out of its shell. Maybe its not that fresh. Overall, this combination is good.

Service
Good service. Waiter explained to us professionally when we queried them on the dishes.

Ambience
Packed during peak hours. Cannot eat at ease. Dinning area quite open concept and you can see people queuing up and "eyeing" the seats.

Price
$10

Recommendation / Tips
(1) Great dinning place for gathering.

One of the best place for Squid Ink Pizza
Smile 2012-11-23

I have been to Skinny Pizza for a few times and I am still not tired of having my meals over here. Located conveniently over at Raffles City walking distance from City Hall MRT station, there will be always a huge crowd of people queuing up for their meals in the few restaurant over in Raffles City and Skinny Pizza for one will always be in long queue.

Even though the staff are very busy, they are always trying their best to serve all the customers having their meals in the restaurant, they are still very friendly and organized in bringing customer to their tables, take orders, serve dishes out to the correct tables and to clear the tables once the customer leave the restaurant. They even greet customer when they come or leave the restaurant which I felt is a good practice which all restaurant should do.

Anyway, we started to order our dishes and here are the ones we had for dinner:

Squid Ink Pizza @ $25

I felt that one should not consider eaten at skinny pizza restaurant if you have never order their famous squid ink pizza. This is the dish which I will confirmed order once I am there for a meal as it is very special and all the ingredients really mixed together so well that you simply loves it. (Not for those who are scare of eating squid ink) The taste itself is a bit sweet with mixture if different things on the squid ink pizza base.

Great! but not as great as Squid Ink Pizza

The English Breakfast Pizza @ $24

Though from my view, this is not as special as Squid Ink Pizza, overall taste is still not bad with tomato, egg and etc. Good to try out if you wish to try other pizza from their menu.

1/4 Metre Long Sausage (Chicken) @ $6

As there are only 4 of us (3 girls and 1 guy), we do not wish to eat too full so we decided to eat 1/4 meter long chicken sausage instead of 1 meter long ($22) or the 1/2 meter long ($12) sausages. Their sausages are nicely done with some spices ingredients in it. It is being served in a pan with some greens veg and mustard sauce. (A bit salty but still nice to eat)

Kampong Glam – One of the must try drinks. Very refreshing to your throat.

A very interesting concept where they used some olden days metal cup for the drinks.

This drink is made up of Japanese Cucumber mixed with some mint leaves and lemon juice for enhancing the taste of this drink (Might have more ingredient which I not sure). Taste wise, you will feel very sour then a bit of bitterness and with an after taste of some nice sweet feeling. A very nice drinks which seems nice to try out if you are there.

First time trying the squid ink pizza!
Smile 2012-11-22

This is my first time trying skinny pizza and i like it ALOT! Personally i like thin crust pizza cause i prefer to eat the ingredients that just bread/flour. haha. so those who are the same, would like this place too!

They have very good service and one of the staff even offered to lift my chair for me to sit! i was shocked! hahaha. they refill the ice water very quickly too! They are very helpful and hospitable!

I tried the famous squid ink pizza with one of my friend and i must say the serving is just nice for two! At first i didnt want to eat that cause the squid ink is black in colour and the pizza is black, the whole thing is black! but after lots of persuasion from my friend i decided to try and i really like it! will be back with more friends to try more of the other pizza flavours! as 2 person, we couldnt order a lot of dishes sad

price wise its worth it as the meal is really satisfying!smile

Its is located at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre, just alight at City Hall Mrt station. It is easy to locate as well. Do try it! ^^

The Wild Truffled Mushroom Pizza is to die for!
Smile 2012-11-03

   Super shiok!

I find myself returning to Skinny Pizza time and time again because of one thing, and that's the Wild Truffled Mushroom Pizza.

Fact that I'm a sucker for truffle-anything aside, this pizza is just LOADED with flavour, mushrooms (many many many!) and fresh veggies. I admit it's a little too rich - after gobbling up 2 huge slices I'd usually get that 'sore throat' feel - but honestly, it's so worth it and I don't mind falling sick from such 'heaty' meals as long as they're darn hearty tongue

Another dish worth trying is the The Elegant Black Pepper Prawn Linguine. Don't be fooled by its appearance... this pasta dish is actually quite spicy!

Enjoy your meal with a glass of cider (can't remember what it's called - it can be found in the drinks menu) and you can definitely walk away from Skinny Pizza feeling happy and, well, not so skinny!

Different Twist on Pizza
Smile 2012-10-06

My boyfriend and I headed down to Skinny Pizza at Raffles City since we were both craving pizza. It wasn't too crowded and we got a seat almost immediately.

   Truffle Fries!

   Tandoori Chicken Skinny Pizza!

We ordered the tandoori skinny pizza and truffle fries. I love how tangy the chicken tasted and it wasn't too spicy. The crust was thin and I really like that because that meant I was consuming less carbohydrates. There was plenty of fresh vegetables on top of the pizza (i.e onions, arugula). Unfortunately, I really really dislike arugula which meant picking off the leaves while eating the pizza.

The truffle fries were my main favourite though.

Likes
Truffle fries.
Attentive staff.

Dislikes
Arugula on my pizza!!!

Squid ink pizza
Just OK 2012-08-08

The concept of the outlet is rather interesting. With the cardboard signs and recycled-looking table and chairs, it made me feel like I am eating at a junk yard. The black pizza picture captured both my friend and my attention. We immediately refer to the menu to check it out and realized that it was squid ink pizza. As my friend was in the rush, we only ordered that pizza.
By the sound of the outlet name, my friend and I thought that the pizza was supposed to be thin crusted. We did not least expect that the pizza's crust to be cracker-like. The overall taste was not bad and the pizza itself looks like a mini garden.

Skinny PIzza WHAT A CRACK!
Smile 2012-07-18

Calling all ladies smile I was excited to have Skinny Pizza with my girl-friends because it gives us the disillusion that we are actually eating healthier pizza due to the word 'skinny'! It actually lives up to the name because of the healthier options it recommends and tend to provides us in the menu. Greeted by friendly service staff, we felt as if we were in some secluded spot where the staff really want us to choose the 'right' choice to satisfy ourselves!
tongue

We got ourselves a plate of Gingered Butter Chicken ($23), looks very different from the photo you actually see in the menu. With loads of leafs, it definitely kept us healthy. And because they have replaced the new-york crust base with skinny crust, it just tasted like ingredients on top with a very crispy biscuit, and we all went like, "WHAT A CRACK"! smile

Had the pleasure to spot this beautiful cakes at the counter, and thus we all decided to take these savouries for our deserts as we were reluctant to believe that our dinner was unhealthy and the little carbohydrates made us hungry quickly.

lolWE LOVE CAKES!!! So we bought One Chocolate one at $4 (approx., forgot the actual price) and it was delicious! Definitely can be shared between 3 or more people because of the very sinful chocolaty nature.

I love their carrot cake bowl, it tasted real special but the slice that the waitress has given us was quite small, thus I'm going to put this on my list as a 'must-eat' next time I visit Skinny Pizza again smile

This fries here are called "Truffle Fries" and they cost us $7. Mmm, nothing special, don't know why it cost almost 3 times more than the ones you have at McDonalds and Long John Silvers. Felt like we wasted our moolah here!

Forget about dining etiquette chopstick when you're at skinny pizza with your friends smile Everything goes right into your tummy!!

Actually we were quite surprised that they served other specialties as well, such as their LONG Sausage (which varies in sizes). We bought one for $6 to try! A 1 meter long saussage actually costs $22!!! They also sell bowls of soup for $6, and salads at $9-$15 depending on the kind you choose.

Get (only) the truffle mushroom pizza
Smile 2012-07-11

For more reviews, please see http://thehungrybunnie.blogspot.com

For people who love carbs but can't have too much of it (i.e. carbs = fat), Skinny Pizza is perfect. The pizza bases are approximately the thickness of 2 pappadoms put together. While I like the fact that the pizza base is very thin, and crisp, aside from the truffle mushroom flavour, I'm not quite liking the rest of the topping flavours, which are very localised. I still prefer my pizzas classically Italian, i.e. wood-fired, thin crust but still chewy, and with typical Italian toppings, salami, Parma ham, mozzarella, olives, mushrooms.

We had:

1) Wild Truffled Mushroom ($24): most popular flavour at Skinny Pizza. I'd venture that, if anything, the truffle mushroom flavour is the only pizza to get here. Because the pizza base is so thin, each pizza is cut into quarters so you get to wrap it up like a burrito to eat.The generous loads of truffle mash, shitake and white button mushrooms are juicy and scrumptous, while rocket leaves lend a peppery lift and crisp red onions provide an astringent sharpness

2) Braised Veal with Onion Marmalade ($25): wasn't particularly good. It suffered from the one-ingredient-too-many syndrome. The caramelised onions were way too sweet and overpowered the braised veal. Also, the potatoes seemed very extra. Either you have the potatoes and do away with the pizza base, or you loose the potatoes and keep the base. That said, the braised veal, when eaten on its own, was fork tender. In fact, it was plastic fork tender. Richly aromatic and delicious

The perfect apple crumble!
Smile 2012-05-30

Ate dessert here! My friend ordered the Apple crumble and it was so heavenly!! Though it may be quite sinful, it is definitely worth it!!! The texture of the apple crumble is really awesome! Couple that with the vanilla ice cream and sauce, this hot and cold concoction is definitely one of the best dessert ever!! It was not unbearably sweet too and the taste of the warm apple crumble really blends well with the cold icecream!
Highly recommended and it would be great to share it with your friends, boyfriend, family or if you are really adventurous, finish it alone!

Crispy Pizza , must try !
Smile 2012-03-31

We love to eat pizza , but we don't like the thick one like Pizza hut , so it is difficult to find it in Singapore , but after trying this restaurant , we think we can have more choose in the coming daysss tongue ~~~

We have tried below foods :

1) Mushroom pizza ( forgot his professional name ) whole pizza with fresh mushroom , actually we would like to some pizza with more cheese , but we don't eat beef , so less choice , but this one is really crispy and like there slogan " WHAT A CRACK " wooo ~ it is thin and delicious , taste just fit not too salty .

2)Black pepper Clam spaghetti ~ actually we want to order big prawn one , but it has already sold out . so just changed to Clam ... the black pepper is really HOT and spicy , so i love it .
The spaghetti was so juicy ~ GOOD !

3) Drink - Lemonade Cucumber special drink , the cup is pretty haha ~ but we ordered it .
Mu... As i am not really like sweet , so i think this drink is a little sweet and i could not find " LEMON" inside the drink ... yup but true .. this is CUCUMBER juice , as you can smell its .

4) Tomato soup , I wanted to try the corn soup one , but i cannot eat crab , so finally ordered Tomato soup , it is really rich tomato source ... too sour and too sweet ... so not really real .
Not suggest.

Will try their other pizza again except soup.

   Black Pepper Clam

   Mushroom Pizza

   Lemonade Cucumber drink

Tomato soup too sour and sweet

Dinner at Skinny Pizza in Raffles City
Smile 2012-03-21

We ordered a pizza and a paella to share. both are squid ink based as we like squid ink alot. My personal preference will be the squid ink pizza which is also the best seller in the restaurant. The amount of ingredients for the pizza is huge. Although the price is slightly steep at about $25, but the food is good. The paella was not too bad but it does not really go very well with the squid ink and it cost around $20. overall the dinner was good.
