Was near JEM and meetup for lunch. Visited Dian Xiao Er popular for specialized duck. I liked it. the surrounding is more of old style China. Ordered my favorite Ten wonder duck, spicy N sour fish and wheatgrass tofu. After 5mins , served with my favor ten wonder duck, I liked the skin and meat tender. it is easy to eat also. The sauce is very tastefully done expecially duck skin. Wheatgrass tofu is their in house specialty. Must try if you bring along elderly. it is soft and full of wheatgrass

Next was spicy N sour, first time for me. From the picture, you can see this serving with slice fish piece. Remember another gem not to be miss when visiting them next time.

Dian Xiao Er. The renowned chinese resturant serves excellant dishes that are cooked hot and delicious. Dined in at a weekday afternoon (2+), hardly anyone.... Was ushered in very quickly. Please get the seats inside for your privacy and view sake.Meat was very succulent, with slightly crisp skin. Herbal did not overpower the aroma of the duck, which is nice. There's bones under every meat #FirstworldproblemsQuite an oily glaze can be seen in this. Tasted bland (health food), but I find it nice

Quite an oily glaze can be seen in this. Tasted bland (health food), but I find it nice due to the crunchy texture of the chestnuts, carrots and snowpeas.

古老肉!!! Chinese classic that is not too salty, meat was more on the crispy and chewy side; which adhere to the tomatoy sauce quite substantially. The bell peppers are cooked just right - still juicy and hot! Don't you hate soft bell peppers

I'm more surprised to see the garlic are cooked to these crunchy bombs. As a garlic lover I thoroughly enjoyed biting into them!
The veggie is not soggy and very light.

A simple meal that is done in high standards and fast speed. I really recommend this resturant if you had a 'chinese' craving while shopping around.
