The portion was a decent size. The mutton too, though the gravy was a bit too oily. The curry side dish was too thin, with only a few limp vegetables and a piece of potato. The rice was just right - not oily and quite tasty and a nice colour. Very rexasonable price - $7+ - which is comparable to food court prices. The place is almost always packed . Dining by the roadside you tend to get smoke from smokers nearby.

Celebrating my friends 21st birthday, we decided to order 2 types of food. One was pizza from Canadian Pizza and the other was from Spize Cafe...

We ordered a few items to celebrate our friends birthday. One was the Nasi Goreng Pattaya (Fried Rice in omelet), another dish was the Mee Goreng Seafood, 2 egg prata, 1 Rose syrup with milk (Bandung) and 1 Ice Milo....

I tasted quite a bit of this food, the Mee Goreng was not that oily, quite tasty and well mixed filled with the egg and a very sweet tomato sauce to accompany the food. One of the key things that it included was the seafood of course! It had the squid rings, the squid rings were not as rubbery as i thought it would be. The prawns were also juicy and quite fresh. Seems the standards were quite good and it remains quite food...

The Nasi Goreng Pattaya was really good. This dish was very surprising and it was quite good because a lot of this dish disappoints me a lot. It was quite moist and the portions were quite big for the price we paid around $7 for it... The omelet was covered well and the rice was warm when it arrived.

The Egg Prata was good big as well. Quite funny see to 4 persons to eat 2 egg prata.. But in the name of friendship everything funny seems pretty good... it comes in a brown wrapper for the delivery..

Lastly, we ordered 1 Bandung and 1 Sprite... to fit the basic order of the delivery. Now you may ask what i am talking about.

Spize restaurant has a delivery service in which they have a criteria to fit. Under this criteria, there are 2 checklists. One is minimum order and one is delivery charge. We ordered to a total of $27 for the food and drinks and since i was in zone 3, i had to pay $8 for the delivery charge coming up to a total of $35... Such an eventful day with some good food..

Heard about this place a few week back from a friend. Decided to try it out for a late night dinner and supper after a long day shopping and driving past there.When we rich the place, the atmosphere was filled with local and the foreigner , the wall was decorated with artistic design, there was also background music to smooth the mind while eating and enjoying the food. Looking at the menu, we were surprised with the different cruise offered, as ther were western, asia, India and at first we wanted to orders the noodles but when we saw this roti John special that have these award winning display on the menu, it jus captured our attention and think it worth trying as it cost only around $5.80. We never regret choosing that as it taste yummy with mushroom, mutton, a little black pepper and if course I love cheesy taste in it with the chilli just enough. It is soft to bite but crispy too. It was easy to cut up the pieces and bite it happily. I simply love the taste and a good experience for people to enjoy. I also order the blueberry syrup. Well, it is not too sweet. Quite alright. The service is also nice as the person serving the food is fast and ask us for the order when we alkyd ordered and write down attentively. The place was clean both indoor and outdoor as they Clean up the price immediately after customer left and there was no additional service charge. The price was reasonable for night spot place like this.

after finishing a late movie, me and my friends feeling a bit hungry and one of them suggest to go to spize at river valley as it operate til early morning .

The restaurant serve wide variety of dishes such as bbq seafood e.g satay , crayfish ala carte food e.g sliced fish , vegetables ,soups etc and also indian foods e.g prata , murtabak etc The prata is crispy and soft whereas the curry is not too thick and spicy . I like the satay chicken set that come with cucumbers, onions and the meat was tender and juicy well marinated and the sauce is nice with minced peanuts . Although it cost more expensive then other stalls .

SPIZE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR LATE NIGHT DINING EVEN THOUGH THERE IS STILL CROWD . THE PRICE IS REASONABLE

HAD A GATHERING WITH FRIENDS AFTER A MOVIE , WE ORDERED BBQ STINGRAY , PEPPER CHICKEN STEAK, GARLIC CHICKEN STEAK AND TOM YUM SOUP

THE BBQ STINGRAY , THE FISH IS FRESH AND FULL OF MEAT , I LIKE THE SAMBAL CHILLI TASTE SPICY .
THE TOM YUM SOUP WAS SOUR ,SPICY ,THE PRAWN WAS BIG AND FRESH .
THE PEPPER CHICKEN WAS TENDER , SPICY COVERED WITH GRAVY , COME WITH VEGETABLES

This is the front door of the restaurant. Anyway we called to reserve seatings for 10 person, and said we will arrive at 5pm, and they mentioned okay. But when we reached, the shop is even not open till 5pluspm then they open and slowly they arrange the table and chairs for us ):

But the food is not bad, like this paper prata! It is cripsy and hot (: Their drinks of teh tarlik is also nice as i like it's sweetness and there's bubble on top, it always tasted nice.

A mixture of fusion, western and mamak food where u can find all variety of food you want!

Been going to this place almost every weekend after church service. They serve very big potion of food which quite worth a penny. I like their nasi lemak Ayam Kunyit which is not so authentic and slightly different, they have their ayam kunyit cut into very small cube and fried it. eat it with the rice and sambal, everything just blend so well.

Service was alright. Overall, this a quick eat and run place if you need something on the go. If u stay a little longer there, u will see people standing next to you waiting for their table, which annoyed me sometime because i have to force myself to finish it quickly.

One of the choices for supper at 5am after a night out. I ordered the Ayam Nasi Goreng, fried rice with fried chicken, specifically less oil. But I reckon it turned out the same anyway.

The nasi goreng was decent to me, not fantastic but good enough to fill up my tummy as I didn't have any dinner. The ayam was oily and crispy.

I'd say that this will be an ideal place for supper as options are narrower but definitely not a place for dinner when I would have many better alternatives.

The nasi goreng tastes really nice. They are very generous with their serving. The taste is also nice. Spicy and yet tast. Really hard to find good food like that. I was satisfied with the service and the standard of the food. I strongly recommend this place to people.

Spize has got one of the nicest tasting roti john in Singapore.It is very rich in taste and the bread is not soft unlike other shops where the roti john does not taste very nice. The mayo and chilli sauce gives it the extra taste. I strongly recommend this dish to anyone who dine at Spize. You would not be disappointed.

Spize nasi goring is a must-try, and when ordering, I always ask for extra spicy. The chicken gravy was not all that, but it is the rice which makes the whole dish worth trying. The egg sunny side up was fried perfectly. Service is rather slow, but it is worth it if you are having the nasi goreng.

Ultimate spot for supper after clubbing! My taste bud is numb with alcohol and i'm craving for something sweet. Thus, i order this prata with banana and chocolate syrup! Well, all i can say is that the banana and chocolate mixture went really well with chocolate syrup. It is just marvelous! I doubt i'll order this in the morning though. A tad too sweet!

Rather big serving of food! But sorry for the photos quality, due to the poor lighting and we are too hungry to wait!

If you love cheese fries, order their cheese fries! If you love fish and chips, do order! Fresh and crispy fish! If you love pratas, try their honey prata and the original prata. If you love maggi goreng, order their maggi goreng thai!

Had this drink while waiting for my friends. It is called the syrup limau. As you can see from the photo, they have lime in it! The drink tasted quite weird. A combination of sweet and sour! I guess they even add colouring in it for it to turn red too!! I personally don't really like it as i'm someone who hates anything that is sourish. It is still drinkable though! Also, it's not a bad thirst quencher!

Spize is legendary as a clubber's post-clubbing paradise, not just because its super near Zouk, but also because its wonderful food is good enough to wake u up from a drunken stupor.

This was my second visit, and on the first i'd had an amazing fried rice with prawns that just stayed with me for the rest of the day - i'd eaten it at 4am. That taste and the memory drove me to bring my friends back. The flavour was full, the fried rice was fragrant and just nice, the eggs were so well fried, and the prawns were so fresh and succulent. All that for under 6 bucks (i think?) and it was just amazing. Their Teh O Ice Limau was the bomb too, although it was a little too gigantic for people had who been drinking for most of the night that'd just past.

This time around, we ordered their chicken chop fried rice to share, and drinks for each person. Their chicken chop fried rice came looking so pretty I took my time to take pictures of it with each person's phones and cameras. Then we ate. And it was amazing. My friends weren't hungry and didn't want to eat, but one little spoonful had them going back for more. I just savoured the well-fried rice, the succulent chicken chop, and the fresh veggies that made it less jelat.

Drinks-wise, my friends' coconuts were fresh and sweet too, and my Teh Haliah was very Haliah - very spicy and kept me warm throughout then night. Good for people who like their ginger drinks .

The ambience is very supper-place too, but not too difficult to talk. We sat inside and still managed to talk easily, and it was surprisingly not too hot despite the fact that we were sitting right outside the kitchen. Other seats available outside were right next to the road, but that's part of the authentic experience of eating at singapore supperplaces too My only quip: the store is so orangey! haha Whets the appetite though

I'll definitely be back again next time, whether or not I'm going to zouk.
