Nihon Mura Izakaya

Sashimi was quite fresh, and prawn and tako sushi was alright as well, but the tuna sushi and the mixed sushi was average. There was also different types of cold appetizers. The kimuchi topshell was the best among all, very flavourful and chewy, and the kimchi/chilli sauce was good. Tuna mayo is a little too salty for me. Cold soba noodles comes with egg and crab meat, can be kept until the next day

Cheap sushi when you dine in but takeaways are actually more expensive. The sushi is alright. Nothing special. The service is very disorganised and messy. And they don't clear your tables or bring your orders properly! They miss your order all the time and bring the wrong stuff. Some of the stuff on the menu don't look like the food when it comes to your table. The ordering system is abit messy as well with the sticks and baskets system. the food isn't that good but it is really very cheap...

Nihon Mura is another japenese restaurant that I like to do to. Their sushi is fresh and tasty with a wide selection. The chawanmushi is delicious! It is served steaming hot and the egg is filled with japenese fishcake and mushroom. they offer sushi buffet too! Makes you want to have many many many plates of superb sushi! I tried the fried tofu and various kinds of sushi and wraps with my friends, and we definitely has a yummilious meal.

Went there for dinner with family. Been there several times and I quite like their food. We ordered quite few plates of the sushi and also sashimi. The sashimi was quite fresh and thick. It tastes so nice together with the sauce and wasabi. I also ordered beef with hot stone. It was not bad and can play with it. The beef was tender and fresh but the portion was not really enough for me. Overall, the ambience of the restaurant is quite good.

I went to Nihon Mura the other day to enjoy a dinner buffet with my boyfriend. Nihon Mura has a wide selection of dishes and i really enjoyed them alot. This is one of my favourite desserts off the buffet menu- their chocolate eclair! The cream on the outside bursts out when you bite it. Delicious!

I love Nihon Mura's buffet dinner. There are a wide variety of dishes to choose from and one of my favourites are their choices of sashimi. There are a whole range of sashimi dishes and these shown is the maguro and salmon sashimi. It is really fresh and delicious! The sashimi's meat is tender and is filled with delicious salmon fats.

This asparagus bacon rolls are 1 of the dish from nihon mura ala carte buffet. You can order also if you not having buffet. I like this dish very very much. The bacon was grilled to slightly burnt to enhance the bacon taste. The asparagus is quite a generous portion rolled inside bacon. perfect match!!

This is a good place to come to for affordable sushis, with most normal coloured plates going for $1.19 which is still quite a steal.Of course there are more expensive items on the menu but if you are looking for a affordable place to satisfy your cravings for basic sushis,this is the place. Went there with friend for dinner. We ordered buffet style. The sashimi were fresh. The meat was so sweet and the texture was firm.

Nihon Mura is a good place to go to if you want to enjoy plates and plates of sushi without fearing that the bill will be too high. There are a lot of different types sushi, all of which are quite tasty in my opinion and are still relatively fresh. We ordered numerous plates, but I like the unagi sushi since the slice of unagi is quite generous and has no little bones within the unagi. The other one which I quite liked was this roll where the rice is rolled around fried tempura. The fried tempera still retains its crispyness, making it very crunchy to bite into.

So my friends and I ordered salmon sashimi and scallop, takoyaki, fried ebi, potato koroke, tempura, gyoza, and red wine for the drinks.

The sashimi is OKAY only. It is understandable because it is not a real premium Japanese restaurant.
I like the takoyaki. It is soft and the combination of the sauce, bonito flake and the tako is nice.
The potato koroke and fried ebi are also ok,quite crispy,but also abit oily.
The tempura and gyoza is ok also. A bit oily. I think the oil is used countless times until it turns to black colour. Not recommended to eat here often.

I am absolutely full after eating all these buffet because I already had Big Breakfast in the early morning.

After my school,i decided to eat Naked Fish,but my friends suggested me to try on Nihon Mura.

It offer the buffet,$22.35 per pax.
The environment is quite good,i like the light.The salmon sashimi and scallop is quite ok and fresh.
I not very like salmon sashimi,because is not cooked.But my friend like it.I like the takoyaki.It is soft and i like the combinaiton of the sauce,bonito flake and the tako.Really nice.
The potato koroke and fried ebi are also ok,quite crispy,but also abit oily.
The tempura and gyoza is ok also.
But i don't really the fried food,because are quite oily.
I mroe prefer eat these food with soya sauce and wasabi..!
Wasabi is a must add-on in these food.
But i think Sakae Sushi one is better.The chicken wings are nice.I like the teriyaki sauce.
The meat is also soft.
Mushroom is grilled and poured with teriyaki sauce.
It is nice,i like it so much.

It's very full after ate these buffet.

Student buffet ($18+tax)cha soba & ramen are not bad, chewy and spongy noodles. The ramen soup broth is nice, not too salty or greasy. The cha soba is very refreshing with fresh green tea flavour.

We also ordered the followings:
ikura handroll
kani tempura
spicy salmon
carlifornia maki
chicken gyoza
ebi fried
hotate (scallop sashimi)
salmon sashimi
asparagus bacon
lobster salad
potato koroke
shitake
pork belly
salmon skin
The quantity is huge, but the quality is just above average.

For dessert we had:
red bean doriyaki
ice cream
choco eclair
cream puff
mochi
which are average only.

If I am on a low budget yet looking for a great place to satisfy my cravings for sushi, I would always go to Nihon Mura. Each plate is priced at a low cost of only $0.99! Makes you want to have many many many plates of superb sushi! I tried the fried tofu and various kinds of sushi and wraps with my friends, and we definitely has a yummilious meal!

i went to nihon mura with a couple of friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a lot of sushi! The sushi there is the normal kind. But you can taste the freshness of their ingredients. The rice is not hard like those exposed to air for some time. The sashimi is very fresh, melts in your mouth.
