Beancurd with Tang Yuan
Smile 2013-02-15

This is one of my all-time favorite dessert in Singapore as it is nutritious, healthy and inexpensive. I really love the combination of the beancurd with the tang yuan and hot soy milk. It tastes not to sweet but just nice for me. My favorite tang yuan is the black sesame tang yuan which I seldom eat this flavour. But when, I first taste the black sesame tang yuan, I had felt in love with it as it is so nice...... smile

Morning is not the same without Mr Bean
Just OK 2012-12-20
Mr Bean serves the perfect breakfast. One that is not too sweet or hard on the tummy and very light yet keeps you full for a good few hours. Every time I get a pancake here, I opt for the set meal (1 pancake + soya milk) as it's a fantastic way to drown it down.

I don't enjoy the warm soya milk here as it tends to irritate my throat but cold one is amazing! (is is not too sweet or diluted). I recommend the chocolate, pandan and cheese miniature pancakes as they are one of the best!

This time round, I opted for pandan. The pancake was crispy on the outside and tasted warm. The filling of pandan was overwhelming with every bite as the filling was pushed to the top. I do also think they should not just put the filling in the middle as when you get to the bottom of the pancake with no more filling, the pancake can taste pretty terrible and tasteless. I often feel like throwing it away after that sad

To round it off, I still think Mr bean has one of the best pancakes and soya milk around compared to competitors. They could do better with a little improvement. Will be back here again for my morning breakfast lol

This costs only less than $1 and is a perfect snack to takeaway on your way back home or eat it as breakfast. It is thin and crispy with it filled with red bean. Of course there are other flavours you can choose from such as peanuts if you want. However i felt that red bean is less heaty and healthier therefore i purchased it! (: It is easily eaten, simply bite or tear them!

milo lava
Smile 2012-04-27

   yummy

The milo lava filling is totally awesome! It's thick and flavourful, especially if you like the taste of milo. Also, the filling flows out gently as you bite through the pancake. The only thing I dislike is that the pancake is sometimes too hard and bland. So it's impossible to eat the pancake without the filling. The milo filling is unfortunately in a normal quantity, how I wish it is more!

Mr Bean biscuits
The Mr Bean biscuit have two fillings. One is pineaaple and another one is tau sha i think. The biscuit tasted too "dry" for me. But for my friends, they said ok. If you are not a "biscuit person" like me, i recommended you not to buy.

miniature pancakes
Smile 2012-04-11
Mr Bean is famous for their miniature looking pancakes. They are truly generous with their filling and my filling never fails to ooze out from every bite. Having been a chocoholic, I have loved their chocolate pancakes. However, I decided to try something different this time and opted for kaya. I was not disappointed.

The kaya tasted fresh and had a distinct pandan flavor to it. The pancake was crispy on the outside and was served pipping hot! The combination of soya milk is excellent and is perfect for lunch or even tea smile

PAPAYA SOYA MILK
Smile 2012-03-27
Have you ever tried Me.Bean 'Papaya Soya Milk' ? This juice was amazing thick and nice which I loved it very much. Do remember to stir or slightly shake it before you drink it as it will be quite blend when you never stir it initially. Besides drink, I also loved their red bean pancake too. There are plenty of choices of variety of drinks and pancakes to choose from which I believed there will be one that you like the most.

Thumbs Up for the preparation of this Papaya Soya Milk. It blended very well with each other which I believed the other fruits choices on the menu tasted nice too.

Bought Papaya soy milk. This is good for health as they put in real papaya that they have stored in a plastic bag for one cup in the fridge. Therefore it is fresh and they add in the blender machine to blend with the soymilk.

It tastes good! and cost only $2!

I feel so sleepy after reading for whole day,and i dont feel like wan to eat also.
So i decided to have a healthy and fresh soya bean milk from Mr.Bean.
We can choose the level of sugar also.
The soya bean milk from Mr.Bean is really nice, and fresh.
unlike from the hawker center one,the soya bean milk from there is full of bean taste but not only sweet from sugar.
So i like it very much..!

Classic Soya.
Smile 2012-01-25
Soya bean drink is always the healthier option when compared to most others. And, i have always think Mr Bean served one of the nicest soya bean drinks. I used to like it with pearls but now i prefer the Classic Soya at $1.40.

I was given an option to choose between a cold and a warm soya bean drink. I decided to have the cold one on a crazy hot day. The soya bean drink has gotten the right level of sweetness with thick and fragrant soya bean taste which i liked.

   Classic Soya at $1.40.

egg mayo pancake
Smile 2012-01-18
It has been very long since I ate mr bean pancakes Writing this review makes me feel like getting one no! This is the egg mayo pancake which I remembered I bought in August since that is when mr bean changed its paper bag to red. The egg mayo is very delicious with the right amount of mayo added and they are also generous with the portion! Best of all is that the pancake is not tough to chew on and is quite spongy.

ice cream!
Smile 2012-01-05

Mr bean ice cream has got to be one of the most guilt free treat ever, with the healthier sign and yet taste so heavenly; rich in soya taste and yet at the same time, not too sweet. I will never get sick of this. I guess i will never get sick of Mr Bean products.

The service was fast, though i had no idea why the cashier sounded so surprised when i asked for a cover to the cup. I was surprised that the ice cream was able to last for so long; it was still in shape after a 20 minutes journey.

Bean Curd with Tang Yuan
Smile 2011-09-04

This 3 in 1 is my personal favourite at Mr Bean! smile

The silky soft soya beancurd with soya milk and 4 tang yuan (dumplings) is a perfect combination. Dumplings are available in 2 flavours - peanut and sesame. One can request for a combination or single flavour.

It can serve as a light meal or snack .. and this cost only $2.20 ... A slice of cake with higher calories intake would easily cost twice as much ;p

Caramel Custard Pancake
Smile 2011-07-04
This is good. Though not the best to me but definitely the nicest i have tried in Singapore.

I rarely buy this type of pancake in Singapore as i always compared to those that i have eaten in Taiwan, and the main difference between theirs and those here is the filling. Those available in Taiwan are usually filled to the maximum with filling and just a nice thin layer of pancake. And, as for those available in Singapore, the filling is usually quite little with a rather thick layer of pancake. It seemed quite inferior in quality and taste in comparison to those in Taiwan.

As for this one, the layer of pancake was still rather thick but moist and the nice caramel custard filling made up the difference. It was a love in first bite. It got a nice eggy custard taste and not overly sweet.

Recommended.

Mr. Bean Pancake!
Just OK 2011-05-31

I bought this piece of red bean pancake from my favourite restaurant Mr. Bean! The pancake is slightly too dry. For the red bean filling it taste just nice. As compared to the soy bean milk with the pancake, I would more prefer the soy milk from Mr. Bean. However the pancake is quite worth well with the price of $1 +/-
