Pepper Lunch

Pepper Lunch a place where lunch is made by pepper.... Its so peppery....

After church on Sunday at AMK Ave 8, my friend and i headed down to this place and had our lunch...

The order was the beef with the curry powder and cheese... It is served with the Japanese Green Tea and salad for healthier options...

The taste was exquisite.... The hotness that you have to mix when the hot plate arrives... you have to quickly mix it!

A quick tip that i learnt.. the beef if u want it a bit juicy... turn really fast... and let it heat up for about 30 secs on each side...

Before my friend and I watched a movie, we had dinner first at Pepper Lunch. I ordered the Beef Pepper set which comes with a drink and miso soup. When I got my order, I noticed that there are fewer pieces of beef, but they were still generous with the rice. It was still a good meal but yeah, less meat. Miso soup was served very hot, so that definitely warmed my tummy on a rainy Thursday evening.

This is my first time buying take away from Pepper Lunch.
Usually i prefer to eat there as it'll be pipping hot but i was rushing to get home to do more spring cleaning!
I always cannot resist the smell of the sizzling Pepper Lunch, yummy!
My friend told me that now they're having this new Salmon & Chicken Combo Pepper Rice
I decide to order this so that i can have best of both worlds.
As such there was quite an amount of people as i had to wait awhile before it's my turn to order and collect my rice.
It was placed in a cute little round plastic bowl with lid.
I'll say it's quite ok for the price of $6.90 for the rice, corn, salmon and chicken!
And not forgetting the honey brown sauce which is my must have to pour over the rice
This dish is simple delicious and i'm super loving the generous amount of ingredients especially the salmon!!!!
I'll definitely buy again, or best still to have dinner there before this deal ends! (just in case if it's only on going for CNY)

pepper lunch had a promotion for wagyu a while ago. And it was at half price. At $10 a portion with rice, this was worth the money. But if you asked me to pay the full, I'd rather not.

Call me biased but the Australian wagyu Im used to has better marbling than this. The only difference is, I dont have a hot stone to cook it like that.

And i also love the golden bits of corn that accompany the beef. It's just like cup corn.

I ordered this curry mushroom and chicken rice.
The curry taste not bad, it is more spicy than i thought.
Because i always thought that the japanese curry is not spicy at all.
It is a bit too sticky, so some rice cant mix with the curry.
The mushroom is a bit too "flavourful",so i not really like it.
The chicken is soft and tender, it taste nice with the curry.
I like pepper lunch original dish.This is a new dish,i think i wont ordered it again because not really like it.
But the side dish-icecream,taste fantastic.

I love the teriyaki chicken - it is soft and "bulky" - it gives a really good chewy texture.
It also blends well with the given tomato sauce.
The spaghetti is quite hard at first, but when cooked longer, it gradually becomes softer and thus making it tastier to eat it with the sauce. The sauce, to me, is a little bit less, would be great if they could give more. The cheese are also too little. XD.

We are attracted with this meal, looks really amazing from the advertisement. We order one meal together with the ice cream and root beer, it is really worth to top up because the ice cream really taste nice. When the meal is served, it is still very hot, and excited to fried it ourself. Never imagine that curry can eat together with cheese and this combination is really nice for those who love cheese and curry. It is so special until you will remember the taste after so long you taste it.

This is the only dish I order whenever I come to pepper lunch Beside having discount for student meal, I do love this set of meal so much. It's called curry chicken rice. The rice and meat portion is just right for me. On top of the rice, they have spring onion and corn with curry sauce too.
You first must cook the meat first then mix with rice and corn. It came with drink too. They has coke/pepsi/peach tea. I always go for peach tea because I don't like soft drinks Not healthy.

It's my favourite pepper lunch again.
I especially like their styles and dishes.
It is very nice and it looks like we cook for our ownself.

I like the combination of this dish.
Although there is no rice.I still feel full after finishing it.
Maybe is the bean sprout.
There's really lots.
Those bean sprout is nice.It dint have the disgusting smell.And i like the corn and the pepper.
They really make the dish taste nice..!

PEPPER LUNCH !! It's been quite long since I last eaten pepper lunch, probably about 1 month ago. I was always missing pepper lunch as it is absolutely delicious and unique I suppose, because it seems like the only restaurant offering this type of meal. We could D.I.Y and cook our food ourselves and also always keep the food warm during the whole meal. This is Curry Beef Cheese Pepper Rice! 90% of the time I would order this, mainly due to the curry and the cheese. Both of them made the rice taste extremely perfect, leaving the rice with great taste and cheesy! It was always fun dining at Pepper Lunch!! AWESOME!

Ordered the Chicken Pepper Lunch and topped up $2 for the bonus meal, which actually included a drink and one side dish. Anyway, I am actually glad to say that the waiting time for the food to be served is quite short. You can smell the aroma from the sizzling hot plate when the rice is served. Simply stir the rice together with the slices of chickens. Well, you can consider of stirring your rice with the sauces served on the the tables too. But one sad thing is the chicken served is too little. Also, you will be quite smelly after having your meal at Pepper Lunch.

Pepper lunch have the best and affordable beef ever! Never fail to fill my tummy with hot and delicious food. Their sauces are simply irresistable! I had their beef as usual and it's served in a sizzling hot plate. Beef slices, eggs, chopped cabbage, long beans and corns. Flip them all over and pour those sauces. Cook with pleasure and eat it all! Ggreat service, great food, what more can i ask for?

Pepper lunch is always a restaurant that will tempt me to walk in to order their pepper rice as meal whenever I passed by. The pepper smell is fragrant yet sometimes may be a bit smelly as the smell will follows you after u went in and finished meal inside. But it doesn't stop me from dining inside XD the side dish is not bad too, I ordered their seaweed soup before which is great, and this ice cream is also not bad, I ordered the caramel flavour, it was a bit too sweet but the ice cream taste like the mcd sundae.

While waiting for our movie to start, me and my girlfriend headed over to pepper lunch to get our desserts! I had their ice cream drizzled with mango flavour. It was smooth like those from mcdonalds. But tt was more of a syrup and there's no real fruit or something in it. It's not real!! The place is forever almost packed with people! Personally, it was average and worth the buy!

The queue here is always very long during lunch and dinner hours. The good thing is, they will only let you in to order food when there's seats available. Anyway, we were waiting for our movie to start thus went in for dessert! I had their sesame ice cream. The sesame tasted really fragrant and smooth. It is tasty and goes well with vanilla ice cream. Somehow, the ice cream tasted like those from McDonald just that these have toppings on them.
