Orange Clove

When to my friend's baby shower celebration and they have ordered the food catering from Orange Clove. The presentation was really neat and the display of the food looks good as well. One of my favourite will be their variety range of sushi, which the japanese glutinous rice used is very firm and fragrant. The different types of topping and fillings used in it are also very fresh too.

Went to my cousin's baby shower and was really glad to try the catering food from Orange Glove. The display was really neat and the portion was quite generous. One of my favourite dish is their stir fried vegetables with chinese mushroom and carrots. The vegetables are very fresh and crunchy, and filled with the light flavour from the mushroom used in cooking it. Taste just right and not too salty as well.

Was able to try out their catering foods during a baby shower at my friend's house. If I not wrong, they have order the simple high-tea buffet. The shrimp dumplings are not crunchy and the skin is thick and tasteless. The siew mai (meat dumplings) are also quite tough in texture and the minced meat used in it are too dry as well. Only happy with their stir fried Chinese noodles which are not too salty, chewy and fill with lots of shredded vegetables. The display of the buffet table is quite nice and neat and sufficient disposable plates, spoons and folks are provided by the caterer as well. Not too bad for their food.

My friend birthday one year old birthday party buffet,they get the food from this catering company
They provide proper cutlery & porcelainlooking melamine plates, attractive serving dishes rather than just standard silver chafing dishes, table decor that includes flowers & tea lights.
The mushroom bruschetta was good, I liked that they used new potatoes for their roast potato salad, there was an asparagus & snapper fillet roll with miso butter sauce that was very good
Some dishes had room for improvement though, like the honey chicken which tasted good but would really have benefitted from using boneless pieces of chicken.
Desserts were quite good,Overall i rate 7/10

Ordered the catering from Orange Glove for my cousin 21st Birthday. Wide range of foods to choice from their catering menu. The catering guys are very friendly when they arrived our house. They reached on time and the set up of the buffet spreads are neat and nice. Food taste delicious too. Would want to engage with them for future celebration luncheon. My verdict: 7/10

Tried Orange Clove for my cousin's 21st birthday and the food is actually so good that i took the trouble to come here and write a review on them =0 !!!

My cousin opted for a theme display and being an adventurer, he chose safari which came out nicely done....if the food were some wild boar meat or tiger meat, i believe allthe guest will think we are at Africa Safari! So yes, the display was nicely done up in an amazing speed by this unassuming delivery guy, lest did i know he is so artistic..... in just over 30 mins, he gave us a safari that didnt exist at the clubhouse lounge.... thumbs up!

Then as we marvel at the setup, the food blew us away.... i mean most of it lah. Till now i can still recall the juicy wasabi prawn, spicy curry chicken, aglio oilo and the to-die-for mini cheesecake! *drools*

Of course there are some misses as well.... for example, the fried platter that we ordered is kinda plain and the portion is little too small..... the dessert was also filled with ice..like plenty of it that we scoop up more ice than the fruits and sorts...... the only thing we did was to scoop up all the ice into the garbage bag before we can freely scoop and not disturb by the ice cubes..... i reckon if we can wait for it to melt...it will work too...but we are hungry people!!!

All in all, worth recommending as their food standard quite high but not pricey...and display was icing to the already tasty cake!

Now, if you think Orange Clove's tagline "Delivering a World of Good Taste" is just another fancy marketing tagline, you're in for a surprise. Orange Clove delivers more than just a good tagline, they deliver a good selection of taste on top of great service, all of that for an affordable price of $20 per pax. You see, whenever I attend seminars, I don't really expect much from the food but I have to say the catering done by Orange Clove is better than I expected.

The Buttered Rice with Nuts and Raisins was unique and tasty enough to be eaten on its own as the healthy raisins gave a sweet fragrance to the rice. Moms and Dads, if you have children in the house and want them to eat their rice, offer them this.

If you spotted a dish you like, be sure to go at it quick, and not be like me, who didn't get to try much of the Yakitori Chicken Skewers and Wasabi Prawns with Fruit Salad, both of which are hot favorites amongst the guests and readily whipped up in only a matter of seconds.

The Sauteed Vegetables came with mushrooms and carrots, and although it doesn't seem to be a hot favorite amongst the other guests of that night (or was it possible than they were stuffed from the other food like the Yakitori I mentioned and neglected this dish?), i enjoyed it because it was so crisp and fresh. They separated the stems and leaves which I appreciate because I don't eat stems and it was always tough just trying to tear them apart.

Also served as part of the $20 per pax is the Pan-fried Fish Fillet with Lemon Butter Emulsion, Prawn Cocktail which came nicely chilled seated on a bed of fruit salad, lots of appetizers and deserts which includes the macaroons, tarts, brownies, cream puffs and my favorite which I keep going back for more: The Mini Peppermint Shooter which was covered with Oreo Crunch.

The catering experience was made better by the provision of well-trained service staff who make sure everyone's needs were met and questions about the food were answered, as well as the silk flower arrangement and candles which gave the whole setting a more aesthetic touch.

Cost has always been the biggest factor in choosing caterers. As such, most of the time we have to compromise with either the quality of food or the service. However, recently, I was being introduced to Orange Clove. I was at a wedding seminar and I was really impressed by their service and quality of food.

The arrangement of the table and food was very professionally done. This is something lacking in most other caterers. While you think the quality of the food may be compromised, that's when you are wrong. The spread of the food was great. It covered both international and asian cuisines, which was able to please almost every participant at the event. The portions were sufficient for everyone as well.

I liked the desserts the most as they were not too sweet and there was a wide variety to choose from. The yakitori they served were very tasty too. This was the most popular dish amongst all as it was cleaned out within a short span of time.

I'll definitely engage them if I'm planning a party on my own!

My first encounter with neo garden's catering was during my 21st birthday celebration which was held at a chalet. I ordered a 50pax buffet catering and the food received well feedbacks.

Up to recently, Orange Clove has been popular and at a recent event organized by 88db, i got a chance to finally witness the true taste of this caterer.

I am not a rice lover, but i totally love their rice with raisins. Its appetizing with a small tinge of sourness (from the raisins). The other main courses(vegetables & prawns) are tasty and you can be surprised of how ingredients are well combined & mixed for each dish.

The desserts are another reason for choosing Orange Clove.
Served in small glasses (just like buffet at restaurant), you can be treated to a wide range of sweeties (peppermint chocolate mousse, strawberry mousse, chocolate brownie & many more...).

On top of that, service crews are always around to assist when possible.

I have to say that I didn't know what to expect from a caterer that promises International cuisine with an Asian touch but after tasting their fabulous spread of gastronomic goodies on last Thursday, I have to say, "There's something about Orange Clove"

From the Baked Snapper with Herb Crust to the Wasabi Prawns, the ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes was top-notch. For the former, the acidity of the herb crust matched the oiliness of the fish perfectly while the wasabi taste was not overpowering for the latter.

The mini fruit tarts were also mellow and tasty, which served as a perfect accompaniement to the main courses.

Also, full marks for the wonderful flower arrangements and the decorations used at the buffet, enhancing the overall look of the buffet table. The uniformed service staff also provided exceptional customer service by putting on their best smiles and always obliging to any requests you throw at them.

If you are tired of calling the same caterer for your functions, want something affordable yet desire quality standard, consider Orange Clove for a change!

I tried their $20 per pax buffet dinner and I must say the menu served was really more than satisfactory. It had a good range of main course to delightful desserts! What is really rare is that even their coffee and tea taste surprisingly good. People who tried the food mostly commented how pleased they were with the spread and will consider using them for their own functions. In fact, the buffet became a topic for conversation among the guests during the evening. There was quite a pretty touch to the setup and decoration which adds to the visual experience when enjoying their food.

What is really commendable is the staff and the service they provide from the ordering (reminder service through SMS) to the setup and removal. They were really attentive and very well-mannered throughout which will make it a hassle free experience for both the host and the guests.

In all, I would say Orange Clove is a pretty good choice to impress your guests!
