Sakae Sushi

Fresh and Deliciously rolled makis are a great way to share food with froends or family. Love how the makis are packed with generous fillings of ingredients and this maki has cheese toppings with it!! although the taste of the cheese toppings are not that strong, it adds a slight tinge of flavour to the maki. the dragon roll was also not bad at all and i love the crunchy prawn wrapped in the rice.

Always thought Sake Sushi was just an average place to eat. This outlet is very small and cosy. They have the regular wooden benches next to the belt. I do like their computer ordering system. so smart!

Odered the regulars including some curry Udon and sashimi. The only thing I really like here is the soft-shell crab handroll and my favorite spicy tuna and spicy salmon sushis. I can't seem to find them anywhere else!The outlet location is good at wheelock where the crowd volume isn't as hectic. Same can't be said of the dishes though. The sushi variety pretty boring and after looking at rounds and rounds of the sushi conveyor belt, i couldnt bring myself to take any because of the less than appealing look of the sushi. The service was average. The manager was nice, the staff were attentive, and the orders came quite quickly.

Sakae Sushi! I enjoyed a buffet at Sakae recently. It costs roughly about $18 for students. I love the sashimi! The sashimi is thick and fresh and really delicious. I love the lobster topping sashimi as well, another one of their red plates. The freshness and the taste is thick and delicious!

Last time I had a wonderful time having buffet with my family before they went back to Vietnam. I had a great time enjoying my Japanese food more than ever! And one thing to note, you can not not order these 2 dish if your at Sakae Sushi! This tempura prawn is like an art! I felt like I'm tasting heaven food especially when it's hot and dipped in the soy sauce! :} Yum!There would be no word to describe these wonderful flesh salmon. It's cold. It's soft! Divine~

ordered the Kimuchi Ramen with gyoza and with kimchi in it The ramen is not very spicy, like the kimchi soup tastes lol. the meat they served is good as it did not have too much fat in it. As for the noodle, i would say is ok, not too good if wan to compare with ramen restaurant like ajisan, but is still tastes delicious in an overall.
Apart from having the belts sushi at Sakae, i also like to eat their ramen. It was in a generous portion which is the reason why i could not finish the whole bowl haha.

It is really healthy too (depending on what you order of cos xD) The colours of the plates are nice for photography and I like the idea of stacking the plates. It is a fun experience with your family and friends. I had fun eating and snappning photos as I like the presentation of the food as well.
With so many outlets in singapore, Sakae Sushi is one place to visit to have your fix of sushis. I always liked ordering unagi sushi, tuna and spicy salmon sushis.

service was prompt and we were quickly seated. the service staff was kind enough to give us our privacy for a fair bit of chatter before tending to us again for orders. casually, we asked for the hot green tea, and did the rest of the orders via the digitised touch screen menu. somehow, we were on the same chapter, and decided to try out some of the SOP sashimi & sushi. all that we picked were colored & red plates and had our fill.

Not only wide ranges of su shi tastes great at Sakae Sushi outlets, I personally also love to eat their deep fried items as well, especially their deep fried potato puffs. These potato puffs are coated with a thin base of bread crumbs before proceed to deep fried. The outcome of it is really smooth and soft inside and very crispy and fragrant on the outer surface. With some Japanese sweet sauce pour on it, this is really a very nice snack which you may want to eat it on its own or even with some rice and noodles too.

I went there for dinner & was quite disappointed
The food standard have changed,not as nice as the past but price keep on increase
I ordered their soft shell crab,it was so tiny ,Their sushi was not very fresh,service not very good,i asked for some tissue,but the staff who was not singaporean totally don't understand & told me they don't provide tissue to customer
overall i rate 5/10

Octopus sushi
Another thing that I like the most in Japanese cuisine is their octopus. I have no idea what sauce is that but it really tasted nice with the crunchy octopus. Eating the octopus alone is a bit salty so I always like to have it with sushi rice. Awesome and you should try this out.Sakae sushi's shashimi is also nice, fresh and tasty. Must dip it with their wasabi, their wasabi is always freshly processed.

i went there yesterday to have my buffet, and the variety of Japanese food they offer, is so wide! there are over 20 dishes and each of them gives you a different sensation. furthermore, it's so cheap and you can have all the sushi, salmon and dishes you want! also, their service was so good that i can't help saying that it is one of the best!

We chose to go ala carte because I think it is more worth the money than the buffet. We can order red plates and even noodles, whereas buffet is mainly restricted to the basic sushi and those on the conveyor belt.

My favourite is the chawamushi. I had 2 to 3 cups of them I remembered. It was served in a nice cup and it is always warm, never cold. Love the taste and the ingredients inside. They have a few flavours, but all of them are nice..

Sakae sushi is one my my favourite places to go for sushi. They have cheap buffet prices and also a wide selection of sushi to choose from. The only thing I dont like is the japenese tea they stock, There is a strong burnt smell to the tea that I do no like. My favourite sushi is the salmon avocado. The sashimi is fresh and thick. Simply delicious!

tempura vege
The tempura ( Japanese battered fried stuff ) is very crispy and flavourful coz it is hot served. The vege is fresh and sweet too so the sweetness can still be tasted even after they are fried.curry tonkatsu rice
I always like Japanese curry. The flavour is thick and rich even it is not very spicy. The tonkatsu is crispy and tender too. I can finish the whole bowl easily!!

Sakae Sushi is one of my favourite place with my favourite food! It is really healthy too (depending on what you order of cos xD) My favourite is the salmon and mango wrap! It comprises of a generous portion of salmon which is high in omega 3 and mango, my all time favourite fruit! I love the unagi roll too! Sushi is awesomeness!
