The Food
I ordered a bowl of prawn noodles with pork ribs. When I had my 1st mouthful of the soup, taste like subtle herbal taste which blends nicely with the rich and full essence of prawn shells and pork ribs and fully absorbed by the delicious yellow noodles very well. The tasty pork ribs are tender and fresh. The fresh prawns has sweet seafood flavour and easily de-shelled which makes eating very convenient.

The Price
Reasonably priced at $5 for decent portion

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

Big Prawn Noodles!
Smile 2013-04-10

I heard that this stall is very famous! When I went there, there was a queue for forming during lunch time. I ordered big prawn noodle and to my delight, the prawns given were fat and juicy. They were also very fresh and tender. I like them very much. The prawn soup were rich in flavour. The noodles used were those normal yellow noodles. They give me a quarter spoon of what appear to be spices added to my soup to enhance its flavour. I will certainly return to eat it again! smile

big prawn noodles
Smile 2012-05-05

I happened to be in the vicinity of old airport road so decided to swing by and grab some food. you can find a lot of delicious food there. I decided to try out their prawn noodles there. The prawns there were fairly big and the meat was cooked perfectly, very succulent and juicy. The meat was not tough at all. The soup was very tasty, it was not too salty unlike some other prawn noodles stall. You can taste the sweetness of the prawns in the soup. It was really refreshing making you want to drink mouth after mouth. They use yellow noodles for the noodles, the yellow noodles were the normal quality ones which you eat outside, nothing spectacular about it. The portion was just right for me, very filling.

can be better
Just OK 2012-04-09

There is always a queue at this stall. In fact, many stalls at this hawker centre have long queues at anytime of the day. This may not be the best prawn mee I have tried before. The soup was only ok as I personally prefer it to be saltier. I ordered the one with prawns and pork ribs. The servings were ok for small ($5) but still a little disappointed with the soup.

Prawn Noodle
Smile 2012-01-18

The first thing that i noticed about the prawn noodles here is that, the prawns looks really huge! Maybe it was the way that they present it, or maybe it is that the usual store that i went to do not really have such big nice looking prawns. In any case, the look of it appeals a lot to me.

Soup wise is really good too, and i almost finish the whole bowl of it, which says a lot since they are generous with their portion of the soup. But as always, i dont like the noodles, which i find it too overcooked. The price can be slightly more expansive than the usual hawker, but i think its worth the price.

average prawn noodle
Smile 2011-12-05

The prawn noodle here has much better soup than the Whitley one which is a few doors down. The soup is tasty and not ooverly salty or spicy. It doesn't make you feel like you're going to have an allergy which is what I feel like with the Whitley one.

However, the prawns here are not as good as the Whitley one. The Whitley ones are bigger and fresher and cleaner. The ones here are a bit smaller and not as fleshy, and has thick black intestines still attached. There is also no flavour in their prawn meat and the meat is very tough.

The noodle is good and the portion is balanced with the prawns. You can choose to add more lard bits to your noodle. It costs $5 a bowl for the big prawn noodle which is a bit too much. There are other things here like pig's organs and clams and small prawns.

Overall, it's recommended. Quick service.

Good Pawn Noodles
Smile 2011-10-07

It is common to queue for good food in Singapore. Decided to try out the prawn noodles since there is quite a queue. After waiting for about 20 mins, i finally had my bowl of prawn noodles. The noodles were cooked just right and not too soft. The prawns served also tasted fresh. The noodles was also serve with a hot bowl of soup, the soup is very fragrant and you can clearly taste the strong prawn taste.
