Enquired about 1-for-1 promotion by FEAST mobile application. The staff replied that its only available before 5pm which I replied it was not stated. The second staff replied that one redemption could used. But in the end, all 3 redemptions available at this restaurant on the application in my mobile phone were being processed as used by another staff. It was an confusing experience, but at least I received 1-for-1 my orders of 2 mains, pizza and pasta.

The serving was huge. The meat was tender and well flavoured, tear easily from the bones.

Salmon grilled the way you like with a themidor sauce and served with mashed potato and buttered vegetables.
The fish was juicy and moist. The themidor sauce was a tab of sourness.


The place was just next to a playground where the little ones could have their fun while the adults eat.

 It was Mother's Day and I decided to treat my mum to a meal at this restaurant after having a good rest for the whole day.

This is my first time at Empire State, very good experience after having 3 Course Meal at S$29.99/set because that does not include Service Charge and 7% G.S.T.

The food is great, but not for hygiene because the floor is very dirty and slippery and their front entrance. In addition, the waiter just used a cloth to wipe the tea spoons in front of diners after serving desserts without any tea spoon being served.

Although their price is of the usual market price, their service is bad because the waiter have to collect payments at 9.28 p.m. before desserts being served.

Therefore, not worth it to have dinner in this restaurant and I felt sorry for not able to have a good gift to my mother.

     The Grilled Salmon was amazing as well, paired with meslun salad and mashed potato. The sauce that came with it was awesome, too bad I'm not sure what is it. The salmon was perfectly grilled such that it's neither under nor overcooked, keeping its moist and firmness well, it was also fresh without any fish taste.

Overall it tastes like overcooked pasta in spicy tomato, garlicky, creamy sauce, topped with a few shrimps. There is no crab fat to be found (Actually what is crab fat?).

       If you submit a feedback about the restaurant on online, you will be given an e coupon which entitles you to a free dessert. As for us, we receive 2 scoops of chocolate chip ice cream, topped with whipped cream and cherry. Yummy.

      There is 10% discount for OCBC credit card holders. Total we have paid $46.18 after discount. Wait quite a while for the bill. Finally come after asking a few passing staffs for it.

I guess business is good and cos of that the service was slow due to the crowd but they're trying their best. we ordered giant meatball spaghetti , bacon hotdog chips. The giant meatball was huge! it's like a tennis ball coated with meat instead. the taste was flavourful and well cooked. Spaghetti texture was very "Q". Fries was a little cold but still okay.

      I ordered their fish & chips, which came with a side salad and mashed potatoes. The amount of salad given was pretty pathetic, but the taste made up for it. The veg was fresh too. The potatoes gave a really smooth mouthfeel. The fish fillet was crunchy but a tad oily, and although it looked small, I was really full after finishing it.

       My mum ordered this mushroom pizza for herself. We thought it was a small portion, but it was so big it looked more like it was for 3 people. Nevertheless, my mum enjoyed it so much she ate 6 out of the 9 slices. She gave me a slice, and after eating it, I could see why she enjoyed it. The pizza was just the right texture, not too hard or soft. The amount of cheese added on top was just how I loved it; you could taste it in every bite! It was simply heavenly.

       Last but not least, we ordered drinks each, an ice chocolate for me and a root beer float for her. The serving for my mum's float was huge! I took a sip and the taste was divine! One can't go wrong with root beer and vanilla ice-cream!
      My ice chocolate was not bad too. It was chocolaty and had bits of chocolate biscuits in it. Managed to finished it all although I was full to the brim.

       Overall, the food was not bad, but their service could be better. It will be some time before I go back again as I'm marred by their service; I had to go to the counter and pay because the staff was too busy to bring us the bill.

       This is the house burger and it is huge as well. Like normal burgers, it comes with fries. So I guarantee, it's a really fulfilling meal! Their beef is really good too. It does not have the strong beef smell like some places have.

      The seafood pasta here is really delicious and I would only order this dish whenever I visit this restaurant. The pasta noodles is thick and smooth, and also very chewy. Lots of tomato cubes are used in the thick tomato paste, which makes the gravy very sweet and juicy. The prawns are very crunchy and the sotong rings in it are very chewy and thick in slices.
