This is the self-made ice kacang inside the seoul garden buffet. There is plenty of choice you can choose to decorate your own ice kacang.lol The syrup is quite nice with the coconut milk that must be added in to make ice kacang. However, the self-made one still not that nice as compared to the outside, haha...Too pity that I only took this picture rather than the hot pot because I were too busy of enjoying cooking the meal!

Seoul Garden :>
Smile 2012-08-20

Spend $36 for this outing with my classmates was quite worth it. We can sit there for long hour and eat all we want. There are many type of seasoned chickens, porks, beef, sea foods like prawns, octopus, clamp are included as well. However, do eat at night because those might not fresh any more, especially the prawn. They would turn soggy and pale.
After having main dish, there are ice kachang too. cakes are included as well :}

Seoul Garden
Smile 2012-06-11

had a classmate gathering at seoul garden because they are halal certified and serves buffet which is easier and more wide in variety. the buffet on sunday night is the most expensive but we only free on that day so "bo huat". It costs $32 each person as there is no student price for that day too. The buffet is still the same as i visited, i keep on refilling the beef and kimchi! their kimchi is very nice, and i always put a lot of it into the soup to make it kimchi soup! lastly, dessert is a must after bbq. we love to design our own ice kachang and these two are the winner !! haha

Seoul Garden Buffet @ Northpoint
Smile 2012-06-10

We decided to head to Northpoint's Seoul Garden for dinner since we were starving. Lucky for us, they have an all-day student price promotion!

We also decided to add in kimchi (found near the veggie section) so that we could have Kimchi soup without paying more to change the soup base. ;) It was a huge spread, we couldn't finish the food and started finding ways to hide the food - we didn't wanna pay the penalty for wasting food. But nonetheless the staffs were friendly and didn't charge us any extra when we really couldn't finish our food.
Good service and good food I'd say. But Northpoint's Seoul Garden outlet has limited food choices.

Bring in the variety!

Anyway, immediately after we were at our table, the waiter poured the chicken soup which we requested & we went to get the food we wanted. There were alot of food - seafood, veggies, fruits, marinated meats; teriyaki, char siew.. u name it they gt it. We took some back to our table (not too much as we were afraid we couldnt finish them) & started 'cooking'.

There were also some cooked food provided. The spaghetti was just served when we got there so we both got some for ourselves. I poured mushroom sauce over mine, while my fren had hers with beef sauce. There were also wanton and other foods. The spaghetti was not wat i expected, not really tat nice (but this is a place where u cook ur own food, not get cooked food, so cant complain, hehe

a lot of varieties
Smile 2011-10-09

i had a group outing with my friends at seoul garden. for carnivore like me, it was kind of paradise. there were many choices of meat available. the best were the bulgogi chicken and beef, black pepper beef, curry chicken and tom yum chicken. like the way they marinate the meat. there were quite a lot of seafood too, like squid, fish and prawns for you to marinate. for the soup ingredients, the variety was quite a lot too. for students, they also have weekday student lunch. quite worth it to eat then.

Breeks set lunch
Smile 2011-09-30

Beef and tofu steak with waffle potatoes and vegetables. Very value set lunch during weekdays. I like their waffle potato fried with skin. not oily, but very crispy. The steak consist of minced beef and tofu. Can taste something hard and soft at the same time. But i find it slight salty if take together with the sauce. Take without sauce is delicious enough tongue

Breeks = Yum!
Smile 2011-09-27 (Related Review)

I went to this dining place several times, because of the great lunch deals that they offer there smile In fact, because I'm a student, the lunch deals for students are EVEN better! Oh, capturing the hearts of those who want great food for less ;) On two occasions, I ordered 'Char grilled quarter chicken' & 'Char grilled ribeye with cajun blackened fish', both came with a set meal (consists of soup + drink), and let me tell you how much it cost.... $14.90! lol After the GST and service charge though, the price before that was just $9.90++ lol So reasonable right? I really love the ribeye with the fish, as it served up two good meats, with a WHOLE baked potato and awesome greens! lol Ordered a hot hazelnut chocolate drink and iced latte with a dollop of ice cream, both are equally fantastic in their own ways.

   Hazelnut chocolate!

Buffet for the Seoul~
Just OK 2011-09-27

I've been here many times during my secondary school days with my group of girlfriends, and I quite like the fact that they offer student prices ($14 approx) smile Although I think it would be better if they had more korean styled food, I think their choice of meats are aplenty, seeing that they have many ways that they have marinated it. You can choose from a few kinds of noodles, choose your desired soup base (would recommend the tom yum one), and also your normal hot dogs, fishballs and greens. Dessert and drinks are provided too, which is really what kept me and my friends going back haha!

   Hot pot bubbling!

   Plateful of food ;D

Seoul Garden

Do you like to eat steamboat..?
Can have a try at Seoul Garden.smile
It's buffet steamboat.

   Steamboat

There are 2 types of soup, kimchi and tomyam.
I personally more like the tomyam soup, because it is more spicy.tongue
If you feel not very sour, can add kimchi into the soup to add on taste. It's also nice.
This steamboat is quite special,we not only can cook in the soup, but also can BBQ.

   Nice kimchi

This kimchi is highly recommended.
It's very nice. My friends and me almost ate 5 plates of it.mad
We can eat directly or after dip it in the soup. Both also nice.

The curry chicken is not bad if we roasted it.
I most like the beef and mutton, it is fresh and nice.
But the prawn is not so fresh.
But be careful when we BBQ,because the pan is quite hot.So sometime food will get "burn".

After eating,we can make dessert ourselves.
Choose whatever we like.

I like this, because we can add whatever we want to.
Just feel like we can also open a ice-cream shop.tongue

Seoul Garden is a place for BBQ and steamboat buffet perfect for outings, gatherings, functions, dinner party and celebrations. I have been to Seoul Garden with friends twice and have a nice chit chat with them at there. Moreover, we can have different choices of food there.

BBQ!
My body full with the grill smell after eating, haha but i love it. My favourite - curry marinated beef! There is also many other flavours of chicken, beef, lamb, and fish, prawn, vege, etc. to be chosen.

Steamboat!
This is kimchi soup base. The soup is not very strong flavour so i add a lot of kimchi inside! I am a crazy kimchi lover!!! woohoo lol

Kimchi is my favourite!! esp Seoul garden kimchi.. unlimited takes and it tastes very nice too!!!

WOAH i'm full 200%

Dessert time!!!

Ice cream! About 6 types of flavour to be chosen, I like Vanilla flavour the most.

Ice kacang! smile

Tasty BBQ!
Smile 2011-03-15

Time for DIY BBQ-ing at Seoul Garden and splashing of oil droplets onto my hand again! tongue Their outlet at Northpoint is quite small but still had everything in place. Glad that they had changed their pricing strategy to include free-flow of drinks (including coffee, tea and milo)!

They have various food sections: non-cooked food, drinks, fried food, cook your own noodles and dessert (ice-cream, ice kachang, fruit, cakes). Their char siew and garlic chicken are my favourites! They even have coffee chicken!

Over to their cooked food section, there's spring rolls, prawn crackers, black pepper chicken, fish and fried rice. Love the fried rice best! Their ginseng chicken noodles, however, was not to my liking. The soup tasted bland, too much water instead of chicken flavour.

Lastly for desserts, I like to eat the chocolate brownie with warm drinks/ice-cream. Sweeeeeet!

   Cook your own noodles!

   Ginseng chicken noodles
