Secret Recipe

I know the cakes at secret recipe are very sinful but I just cannot keep myself away from it. I tried the Chocolate Strawberry and I am totally addicted to it. It is one of my favourite cake from secret recipe! The chocolate sponge cake was so rich in chocolate flavor. it was so moist and completely melts in your mouth. It was not too sweet as well. the strawberries were pretty large in size. There was also strawberry topping on top of the cake, it totally completes the cake!

Ocf decided to try a slice of mango delight as dessert. Same as our meals, the desserts were served on white plates
which gave us the impression that hawker food was served on disposable paper plates. The cake was really
disappointing because of the plain sponge, plenty of cream and few pathetic slices of mango within.
As for me, having known that their chocolate banana cake is popular, I decided to try out its new chocolate strawberry
cake. I realised that all their cakes actually looked really horrible, messy and unevenly textured. Presentation wise would
definitely fail. As for the taste, I felt that it was a mismatch and was not as good as the chocolate banana. The surface
(chocolate part) of the chocolate cake was sticky and I totally got sicked of the cake after eating halfway. (I did not finish
it!)

This choco banana cake is one of the must order cake in secret recipe.
The choco layer on the top is fantastic.
Smooth and nice.
And the cream between the layer is also nice.
Smooth and creamy.
The cake is so thick and quite big in size.
So please share with friends.
So wont feel so greasy after eating it because the moose is quite thick.It will make people feel greasy.

Was here on a saturday afternoon and it was quite packed. The waiters were too busy to even attend to us so we had to find a table on our own. After a while, the manager then came by with our menu. Placed order for the meatball spaghetti, you can either choose chicken or beef for the meatballs and my friend chose the beef. According to my friend, it was not too bad she like the beef meatballs a lot. I had the green apple kasturi for my drink and it was quite refreshing as the weather was really super hot yesterday. There was a plum in it too. My friend ordered the frosty lemon too. Total bill came up to about $25.

Chocolate cake comes in a huge chunk of a slice.
Chocolate is rich and cake is filled with banana pieces.
love the texture - cake is spongy and sandwiched between layers of moose & chocolate cream
staff is friendly and polite, recommended us to take a promotional tea set at a cheaper price which we were not aware of
Will definitely come back again !

Amazingly delicious classic cheese cake. A traditional blend of mascarpone cheese and cream cheese with chocolate sponge. I love the richness of the cheese. It is really smooth and cooling. One mouthful of mascarpone cheese mixed with cream cheese and chocolate. Lastly with a finishing touch of lady fingers biscuit. This is the last slice for the day else i would have ordered another piece! A must try!

The moment we arrived and was about to settle down, a waiter approached us and asked how many are we, I answered "4", I don’t think I need to make any reservation too in the very first place. We had our main dishes, I order a beef lasagna, nothing special, reasonable portion too. after the main course, we ask for dessert, we share the chocolate banana, chocolate fudge and ice-cream delight and share among 3 people.
Our cake slices took quite some time to be served, ok, we don't mind. After a few minutes, the cake slices arrived. It is pretty nice however can be better for sure.

It was my cousin's birthday and were rushing to get him a cake and thank god for Secret Recipe at marina square! We got him a chocolate cake(forgot it's exact name). It was just full of chocolate but i was really disappointed with it's texture. The cake was quite dry and I thought it would have tasted better if it was more moist..The chocolate tasted average too.BUT the cake looked nice though.....however, it shouldn't just look good on the outside,no?

Craving for some desserts, we decided to head to Secret Recipe for some cakes. I ordered the blueberry cheese cake which costs $6. The cheesecake was creamy and cheesy which left a smooth feeling on the taste buds. The blueberry was sweet and refreshing. The cafe was quiet and made a great place to chill on a lazy afternoon.

I went to secret recipe for afternoon tea with my daughter. We each ordered a slice of cake each. I ordered the chocolate banana cake, it was really delicious. The banana pieces were really large, the banana itself was really sweet. The chocolate cake is very soft and moist. The cake itself is very light. There was not a lot of cream in the cake. I think this is a cake suitable for the sweet tooth cos it can be rather sweet. The slice is really large, so it was very filling.

We had ordered the Irish Lamb Stew which is one of their signature dishes. The lamb was stewed to perfection as the meat was so tender and soft that it came off the bone easily. The thick gravy was also very delicious. Service wise was not bad but our food took quite some time to be served as it was during the peak lunch hour.

i went to secret recipe to take away a slice of cake for supper as dinner was not too filling. after pondering for sometime, I finally settled for the mango delight. It was indeed the right choice. The cake was so light and fluffy. It was kind of sweet, but suitable for a sweet tooth like me. There was quite a lot of cream but there was also quite a lot of mangoes. The mangoes were sweetish sourish. It was really very fresh. One slice of secret recipe cake is indeed filling. their slice is really high and thick. Absolutely love it!

It was around tea time and I was craving some dessert so I headed to Secret Recipe, where they sell quality cakes!
However, their choices on that day was rather limited and they didn't have my favourites
Hence, I settled with the Chocolate Banana cake despite not being a huge fan of banana.

The serving of the cake was extremely huge, enough to be shared among 2 which I did!
The top of the cake comes with a thick, fudgy layer of chocolate followed by alternating layers of chocolate cream and sponge and banana slices within these layers.

The layer I loved the most was obviously the topmost.
Afterall, who can resist such chocolatey goodness!

Overall, I feel that the cake was rather average perhaps cause I'm not a huge fan of bananas.
I've definitely tried way better cakes at Secret Recipe

Secret Recipe has many different cake favors, of all the favors which I have tried, the chocolate mint cake is the best among them. The chocolate sponge cake layer is very soft and has a nice chocolate favor, the vanilla layer also very soft and has a nice minty taste The cake is also top with minty sprinkle which completes the cake.

i went to secret recipe for lunch and a small gathering with my friends. I ordered their spaghetti meatball. They gave me an option to choose from chicken or beef. I selected beef. When the food was delivered. The portion was just right for me. The meat balls were large and juicy. the pasta sauce was super delicious. it was sweetish sourish, went really well with the meatball and spaghetti.
