Decided to have something light for breakfast, ordered a chicken glutinous rice and a meat pao.The lady is friendly when ordering and it was serve pitting hot. Taste for the both dish is good and most importantly is when the weather is cold and having a warm breakfast. They do sell other pao and dim sum too. The price is reasonable and affordable. Will come for it when i pass by.

Tiong bahru pau has different types of pau and some other dim sum items such as siew Mai har gau and lor Mai gai. My favorite item there is actually the lor mai gai which has soft chewy grains of glutinous rice which are flavourful and yummy. The chicken pieces are not super fantastic in terms of flavour tasting slightly artificial but overall the dish still comes together nicely.

My mother knew I was going to toing bahru market to eat so she reminded me to buy home the tiong bahru bao. I got their char siew bao and the char siew sio. The char siew bao is really good, the skin is light and fluffy and it is not too thick. The char siew filling inside is seasoned perfectly, not too sweet nor it is too salty. My sister is very picky when it comes to char siew pao, she cannot stand fats in her bao but this one was a thumbs up for her. The char siew sio was really fragrant. Th

The pastry is very light and simply crumbles when you take a bite. They were very generous with the char siew inside. I like the buttery taste of the pastry. They really live up to their name.

Not only the wide range of chinese meat paus that are nice here, I also like their half egg with chicken meat bao. Whole boiled egg is cut into half before spreading some juicy chicken a one side before coat in flour and bring deep fry. The outcome of it is crispy outside and tender and chewy for the inside. Other than this, the siew mai, deep fried popiahs, yam puffs are equally delicious as well too. Long queue may be expected here during lunch and dinner hours, so do come by earlier to avoi

It tasted even good if eaten with the chilli provided. It is so good that one piece is never enough but left you craving for more. It is an ideal snack for coffee break.

Strongly recommended.

Still feeling hungry after lunch so got a snack to eat. If you are thinking Tiong Bahru Pau is only selling Pau then you are wrong. Tiong Bahru Pau is selling different types of pau and also many types of snack. Two of my favourites are fried spring roll and char siew puff. Fried spring roll is the hot selling item and usually sold out quite fast so i will get char siew puff. The puff got nice juicy char siew filling and nice pastry skin. Very nice to eat.

Tiong Bahru Pau is selling other snacks too and not just pau. I wanted my char siew pau but the stall assistant told me that it was sold out so i ordered char siew shu instead. The char siew su was quite nice. The pastry has got quite a lot of sesame seeds sprinkled on top.The char siew filling was quite nice too. I can taste the chunky pieces of char siew in it. Not a bad choice.

I wanted my fried springroll but it was sold out then during a busy lunch hour. I wanted a char siew pau next but it was sold out too. Anyway, this is still not gonna be one of my top choices when i am at one of their many outlets to get my usual fix for afternoon snacks. I still love my fried springroll somewhat; i have tried many fried springrolls including those from the Old Chang Kee but still prefer the very one from Tiong Bahru Pau.

i think they really use to have mouth watering dim sum before they expanded their business to many branches. I normally order the char siew paus, but since they are out of stock today, I decided to order the char siew pastry instead. I was glad that the paus are out of stock, because I didn't know what I was missing out on! This char siew pastry is really good! The pastry is not too thick and the char siew filling is quite substantial, making every bite full of char siew. The pastry is crumbly and fragrant. I also liked that the char siew is not too dry or fatty.

I had lor mai kai from Tiong Bahru Pau for breakfast. It was a little larger than usual ones and I was happy to see that the chicken pieces were big. (: The rice was sticky but not overly sticky such that it sticks to the plate. It tasted normal except for the large pieces of chicken which made it a little more special.

I have been following this stall since young as they have the most delicious pau in Singapore! I love their char siew pau as the fillings are very tasty and the skin simply melts in your mouth. Also remember to try their siew mai with their chilli sauce as the size is larger compared to other dim sum eateries in Singapore. You can also order "raw" pau and dim sum from the stall if you want to steam them yourself at home. This is a "must" buy if you happen to be around tiong bahru area

There is always a long queue at Tiong Bahru Pau,which explains why it is still very famous and delicious. The pau's filling is alot and the skin of the pau is not thick or hard.Even if you steam the pau the next day,the pau is still as fresh as you bought it the day before. Highly recommended pau for those seeking to eat fresh pau with lots of filling.

Tiong Bahru pau is one of the famous bao stall in singapore and really lived up to their name. Bought their char siew bao and one bite of it really brings back memories of the older days. The bao was freshly steamed and smell nice. Not to mention, the char siew meat inside the bao was meaty and juicy with the char siew sauce. It's super tasty and delicious. Can't give this Pau stall a miss )

Was visiting a friend who lived in Tiong Bahru. Since I was in the area, I decided to pop into Tiong Bahru market and buy siew mai from Tiong bahru Pau. This is one of my favourite brands when deciding on the standard of siew mai. The siew mai was quite big in size, unlike those you get from elsewhere. The fillings was very tender as moist as they have water chestnut bits inside. The skin was not thick and the fillings was aplenty. With every bite, you can taste the balance fo sweetness and salt

I cannot stop until I have finished up all my three siew mai. Yummy.
