Fish & Co.

An impromtu dinner with Ivy leads me back to Fish & Co, Jurong Point. They have even upgraded to placing order thru iPad3!

We ordered Fried Calamari & Mussel w/Lemon garlic Butter for sharing on top of our main dish. While I'm satisfied with my Chicken & Fish Combo, Ivy is slightly disappointed with her Baked Cod Fish as it's slightly over-cooked

Went to the fish and co outlet at jurong point that day and tried out their Hot Fudge Chocolate Cake for the first time! It was very good. The taste of the chocolate was thick and velvety, and the vanilla ice cream complemented the cake as well. It was a first for me as I have never tried eating ice cream together with cake before, so the experience was pretty good haha.

Another outing with my friends to Jurong Point’s Fish and Co. I intend to conquer all the different country’s fish and chips. I tried the Singapore one, it was good, for those who are not fans of cheese. This time round I tried the Swiss Fish and Chips. Of course it had swiss cheese drizzled on top of the fish. The fish they used were large in size and very fresh. the meat was absolutely fresh and sweet. there were not any fishy smell, even if there was, it was covered up by the delicious cheesy sauce. The sauce is really good, very cheesy and rich in flavor. I intend to try and review about the other fish and chips.

Fish and co have student meal at $8++. I went there with my girlfriend for lunch and we ordered their student meal. their student meal comprise of fish and chips from around the world, from Italian, to Swiss to Danish to Japanese to our very own island Singapore. I wanted to give those cheese ones a skips so that leaves me with only three options, Italian, Singapore and Japanese. I decided to give the Singapore fish and chips a try. It had some sort of chilli crab sauce. The chilli crab sauce in my opinion was not spicy but somehow it went very well with the fish. They had crab pieces on top of the fish too. really took the effort to make it chilli crab. Thumbs up for the effort.

i went to fish and co for lunch. I decided to order the student meal of the various countries fish and chips. After referring to the menu, I decided to order the Singapore fish and chips. I found it different from other fish and chips, it did not have any cheese toppings. They added some chilli crab sauce, on top still have shredded crab bits. The fish is very fresh, the batter is very crispy. I think it is one of the nicest fish and chip I ever eaten from fish and co. and for student, they also have student price.

During the lunch special at Fish & co, I tried their salmon set. The set was one of the more expensive ones so I was expecting a better dish. However, I was disappointed. When the dish came, the salmon was pathetically small for the price paid! (I paid about $15 for the set) And the salmon was slightly dry. Not good at all

Headed down to Fish & Co for their lunch specials! I ordered the Danish fish and chips. There was a generous portion of fish with delicious sauce. The fish had a crisp outside and tender white flesh on the inside. Yummy! The set cost about $10. Really Worth it! I love the tartar sauce as well

I went to fish and co for lunch. After browsing the menu, I finally settled for the four course lunch promotion. I ordered their artic fish and chip. The set cost only $10.95++. The set comprise of a drink of which I chose the iced lemon tea. for my side, I chose the coslaw even though they offered me soup as well. the portion of the coslaw is pretty large, could only finish half. The portion of the artic fish and chips was not really large probably because it is a four course meal. the fish was really fresh and there was not fishy smell. I was kind of disappointed with the dessert, they let me choose between strawberry pudding or chocolate mousse. I chose strawberry pubbing but I only ate two mouths of it cos it was so sweet.

Decided to celebrate after exams at fish & co. Tried the Danish fish and chips for the first time. The fillet is stuffed with stringy mozzarella and spices. Its then topped off with fish & co's lemon butter sauce.

As usual, the fillet is not too oily and moist. The stuffing never disappoints, with generous amount of cheese in the fillet. As a cheese lover, I loved the combination of the fish and the cheese. However, as compared to other fish and chips offered, this is tasty but not as unique as other fish and chips.

I won't mind having it again but if I'm looking for a more unique fish and chips this isn't the one.

Decided to have lunch at Fish & Co. As usual, ordered for the Student Meal which significantly reduces the price of the fish and chips. It costs only $9.50 for a fish and chips of your choice and a drink (Iced lemon tea, coke/sprite, Koala tonic, passion fruit).

I chose Swiss Fish and Chips with Koala tonic. The fish and chips is stuffed with gruyere cheese and topped with garlic lemon butter sauce. One of my favourite dining moment in Fish & Co is whenever I slice the fillet, the stuffing (cheese, juice, everything) just oozes out of the fish. Makes it look very appetising. The cheese stuffing goes well with the well-fried fillet. I especially loved the garlic sauce. It had the nice garlic smell which wasn't too heavy. Perfect for the fillet.

Before I try all the other Fish and Chips, this will definitely remain as my favourite from Fish & Co. Would strongly recommend it + Awesome service and dining environment at low price.

Different types of delicious fish dishes can be found from this Western restaurant. Usually I will order their basic fish and chips whenever I visit here. This is my first time trying other dishes from their menu and surprisingly taste even better than the crispy fish cutlets. The salmon fish is very soft and juicy, which after they have pan fried it the natural sweetness from it still remain in it. The french fries are very crispy and not too oily.

This seafood platter is very nice and delicious. The prawns are tasty and fresh. The fries are crispy and flavorful. The squid is nice too. The mussels are the best in my opinion. The sauce that is drizzled on them were simply heaven. It just compliments the taste of the mussels and this is probably the best mussels i have ever eaten The rice however were not nice at all, but i drizzled some of the mussels sauce to eat with it and it tastes better. The portion is definitely worth the money since it can feed around 3 people. The environment was nice, suitable for chilling. However, there was a little waiting time for the food.

Fish & Co, besides being famous for their fried fish is also quite good with their carrot cake! I ordered their carrot cake after the main meal and found it to be quite good! The carrot cake is quite a huge serving and I definitely recommend to share this instead of eating it on your own. The carrot cake is moist and I could taste the walnuts and carrots within the cake. The cream cheese interspersed within the cake is also very complementary to the taste of the cake. It is worth a try!

I has been years since I ate at Fish & Co. I happen to chance upon it again because it was the last day of my internship and my colleague wanted to give me a treat. I ordered salmon with chip and it comes along with mushroom sauce. Overall the service wasn't really good because I wasn't told what was not available and it is hard to get the staff'd attention.

I think fish & co do served a quite decent standard of food, and that was my impression up till when i went this particular fish & co for dinner and had an issue with the burnt calamari.

The food in general is still great though. It is just that, like every normal person out there, i hated my food being burnt, and i had liked my calamari the way it should be, not burnt. So i had requested for a change for the calamari. And that waitress simply refuse! And state that it was way it was. Took me quite a while convinced them to change and, there were still a few burnt pieces.

The place is cramped too, and seated too close to the next table for comfort.
