Meatball Soup with Rice for Lunch
Just OK 2012-04-19

My friend and I decided to have lunch at the Kopitiam in the old wing of the shopping mall after studying at the nearby library.

Ordered this Meatball soup together with the bowl of rice. Although I had added pepper into the soup, but somehow it just had this sour taste in it. Nonetheless, the meatballs were really chewy and tasty! However the price of the food was not very cheap even though the ingredients used were really simple.

Pig Organ Soup
Just OK 2012-01-17

Pig organ soup and kuay chap are always top of my favorite dishes in the hawker, and i rarely have any complains about these 2 dishes, that is of course, except for the portion.

While the pig organ soup at this place tasted fine, the amount of ingredient that they put in isn't. All that i see was 2 meat ball, some slim meat, and kidney thats all. Maybe i should mention the xian cai in the soup. And there wasn't any other pig intestine or stomach, which should be the whole idea of the pig organ soup. Nevertheless, the price was reasonable.

pig organ soup
Smile 2012-01-01

I tried the hot pot mei cai with pork ribs from the pig organ stall at kopitiam. It cost less than $5 and the portion is quite a lot for me. The pork ribs is very tender, the gravy is very tasty and goes absolutely well with rice. the mei cai adds a little sourish taste to the gravy. I love the way they serve it on the hot pot cos the dish is always hot and hot for some time. they also gave a bowl of soup. the soup is the pig organ soup, so tasty.

Great dish!
