i ordered the black carrot cake from ding feng. The carrot cake here is really good, the black sauce they added to the carrot cake makes it taste really sweet. The carrot cake is very soft and chewy. it was seasoned perfectly, not too salty. It was also not very oily as well. The portion was pretty large. Their chilli is separated from the carrot cake, it is not fried together but placed beside it. The chilli is good, goes well with the carrot cake, giving it an extra flavor.

Whenever i dine in at any chinese restaurant, i will always order a zha jiang noodle. I just love the combination of the minced meat sauce with the noodle. The zha jiang noodle at din tai fung is good! The serving may look small but it is actually quite filling. If the sauce was given a bit more, it will be even better!

My girlfriend was craving for oyster omelet so we headed to xin char chan teng, outside jurong point to get it. their oyster omelet is one of the nicer ones we eaten. The oysters are large and juicy. there isn’t a lot of starch in the omelet. Their chilli sauce is really good, sweetish and sourish, goes well with the oyster omelet. They also add quite a bit of vegetables inside too and it is not so oily.

i was craving for oyster omelet so a good friend and I headed to jurong point ding feng to share some oyster omelet. We particularly like this stall oyster omelet. It is not too starchy and the oysters are a lot and very fresh and juicy. the chili is not the nicest I have eaten but it is sour and spicy, goes well with the oyster omelet.

Anyone who lives near Jurong Point would probably know that this stall has one of the best fried prawn noodles in the area. I always have friends and family recommending me the fried prawn noodles from this stall and I finally decided to give it a try for dinner. The leave (?) they use to wrap the noodles had a really strong smell which I didn't like but it gives the noodles a special flavour. The noodles were well-fried and I really liked the sauce. I'm slightly allergic to pra...

The fried prawn noodle that I tried is marvelous! Its worth queuing up for! The amount of gravy in it is just nice so that the noodle is not too wet nor too dry. However, its standard has dropped a bit as the prawns were not very tender but they were still very fresh! lol

I had prawn mee again! My brother bought a packet for me as lunch and it still taste as good as ever! I'll never get sick of it even after eating it for the 100th time I guess! The noodles are a little softer than usual, maybe because we bought a takeaway but the sauce and chilli still taste as good! The prawns are also fresh and the packet is really big! Seems bigger than those that we have it there. lol

I heard that this shop is famous for its FRIED PRAWN MEE. I can guarantee that it truly lives up to its name. It serves in a big package whether you eat in or take out. I ordered take-away so you could see the amount of mee given. They wrapped it with a leaf? It definitely looked nice and perhaps added to the overall smell and taste of the noodle. But it was soggy after sometimes. A little gross to touch the leaf. Perhaps they should save the tree. Oh, sometimes the...
