Messed up Order
Just OK 6 days ago

Tissue Roti Prata ($1) and Chicken Biryani ($2.70)
At first thought the queue is short, so join the queue. Actually the order queue is short, but the queue waiting for food is very messy. It seems that the orders are mixed up. At first order something else, but end up with the above. Very thin and crispy prata. The biryani is very big amount, with very tender chicken.

Brayani
Smile 2013-05-09

The fragrance of this plate of brayani jusr kept my mouth watering and it whipped my appetite as the rice goes so well with the other indian dishes that the stall serves. Love that the rice is all evenly covered with the spices and that no white rice was seen unlike some restaurants that serves Brayani. the mutton curry goes really well with the rice and it just keeps leaving you wanting for more!

Fried Bee Hoon
Just OK 2013-05-04 (Related Review)

At first I thought this stall will be fast as the queue is short. But the staffs mess up the orders of a number of people and cannot catch up with the orders. Finally got my order of Bee Hon Goreng ($2.70). The fried noodles tastes rather spicy. For me, need the sweet tomato sauce on the side of the plate to balance the spiciness. The fried noodles tastes of wok taste with simple items such beancurd and green leafy vegetables.

Cheap murtabak
Smile 2013-04-07

Another lunch at Nanyang Poly's North Canteen. This time having chicken murtabak ($3.20) from the Indian stall. Freshly made on the spot. You could see that the cook take pride in cooking, making sure the murtabak is nicely shaped, chopping off the uneven parts while cooking. Very crispy made. The filling is just nice, not too salty. The egg is spread evenly across.

Prata
Smile 2012-08-22

This is how our school prata looks like. Looks delicious huh?! :] But if you were to stand there and see the uncle made the prata you would somehow doesn't really enjoy your food later on. Why? The hygienic level is superr low! He used his oily hand to take money and then touch the prata :{ Very unpleasant to see. However, if you ignore the making prata process, you would love the prata a lot. As the egg is evenly distributed and it's very crispy outside yet soft inside :}
I don't dare to eat a lot though :]

I like this indian food, it taste like a bit malay food too.
It's like economic rice, choose the vege that we one.
The curry is nice to be pour on the rice.
And the vege's spiciness is just right. So i like it.
But, it is a bit oily.
The choices is quite few,so i dono want to choose what.
The rice is quite hard and dry,and it is really too much,so i cant finish it,it's not i want to waste it.

Prata!
Smile 2012-04-27
Hands down, my most favourite prata stall! I love how crunchy their normal plain prata is! Their egg prata is also one of my favourite. It’s rectangular in shape and big, and the egg is placed right at the center. My personal favourite! With their wide variety of prata, from chocolate to strawberry, you’ll surely come back for more!

   Roti plain Prata ($0.7)

After see the photo from the best prata shop,i'm craving for prata.
Very nice prata,It is crispy.
But their hand is quite dirty.
There are many other types of prata.
I aim for the red bean prata for next time.tongue

The curry is not very nice.I more prefer my hometown's.
But i still can accept it as the prata is really nice.

   Roti John($2.5)

It's big in size.
It really make me have appetite after see it.
The sauce is nice..I mean mayo mix with the chilli sauce.
But it's too big for me,i cant finish it,so i share with my friend.
The bread is also very soft.It is really great.

Pratas!
Smile 2011-11-02

Pratas bought at NYP North Canteen Indian food stall

Sudden craving for pratas as i'm quite a curry lover too. So i headed down to north part of the school and bought two pieces of pratas. It was quite filling though the size is not very big. The curry gravy is also very fragrant and flavourful.

Prata at north canteen~
Just OK 2011-08-01
Very nice egg prata, many variety of prata from the stall for you to choose. Sometimes I will in doubt about their hand hygiene.
Their prata is really crispy but I find it a bit oily. Their curry gravy is very rich taste but really oily as you can see a thick layer of oil. So I suggest don't take it so often.

Nasi Briyani with chicken drumstick!
Smile 2011-05-31 (Related Review)

This is nasi biryani with chicken drumstick from the Indian stall at south canteen. It was very delicious whether in terms of its look or its taste. It is very worthy as it is only $2.50 with such a big, juicy chicken drumstick. The rice is nice to eat as well as the curry and acar acar. I like it very much!

Prata at north canteen
Just OK 2011-05-31

This is chocolate prata I had ordered from north canteen in my school. It is thin, crispy and crunchy. The chocolate syrup that had added make the prata is slightly too sweet. The colorful topping make the appearance of this prata more interesting. I quite like to eat this because of its texture is nice

Chicken Briyani @ NYP North Canteen
Smile 2011-05-15
I was craving for Indian curry one school day and decided to have chicken briyani at the north canteen at Nanyang polytechnic!

The briyani certainty did not disappoint me, and i loved how the rice was softer then most stalls! The curry was thick and delicious and the chicken drumstick was tender and juicy.

It was also one of the cheapest briyani's i have eaten, and at $2.50, its definitely worth coming back!

Thosai.
Smile 2011-04-26
I was craving Indian food for lunch in school this afternoon. Settled for the thosai (plain), one piece cost $0.80 but the minimum purchase for an individual is 2 pieces. The thosai didn't disappoint me, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The curries and chutney were savory and tasty. It was worth the 15 minutes queue for this (there was a long queue as most courses have their lunch break in between 12 - 2).
