Having lunch at RISE Resturant, have made a reservation early so everything was fast and directed to our seats. Seafood session was good serve with Sahami, clamps, etc. they are fresh but size is little. Ha. Local delight serve with Laksa, noodles, pasta etc. Indian food also available as I like the curry and chicken, they are so hot too. Deserts was my best as there will so many cakes and ice cream stuff at Centre of attraction. You can see a lot of food on this photos. A must try if you like buffets. continue reading

It was a really relaxed afternoon for buffet. The spread is sumptous and covers a wide range of choices. The seafood section is great, especially the shells. It's my first time eating this and I think I am hooked - seems better than the typcial sashimi we used to have. The pasta section is also great. Ambience is fanstastic and lovely. Ask for TWG tea to go with your food - it just added an extra class to the feasting. Overall, it's a nice mix of mains and desserts. Their chesse cakes are fanstatic. Try also their lychee sorbert if you have room too. Will be back next time in MBS... continue reading

Have dinner there instead of lunch as the ambience there is extremely romantic. The setting's great and the staff are extremely helpful! The salmon sashimi as well as the cold prawns are extremely fresh and juicy. My friend commented that the Oysters are worth to have a try too!The mangoes from the fruit bar were too sour, however the sticky pudding was addictive! If you've a sweet tooth, try that! I had like 3 rounds of it and couldn't eat it anymore because my stomach was already exploding! The cooked food isn't too bad. It's worth to give it a try too!Currently RISE has a promotion. Instead of paying for 4,use a UOB credit card and pay for 3 instead! continue reading

Probably one of the most amazing buffet spreads in Singapore that I've been to considering the quality and diversity of the food was good. You can scoop honey off the honeycomb to eat on crackers. Super sweet, delicious, and fulfilling. The roast beef is one of the best done dishes offered at the buffet. I had at least 3 servings of it. Perfect with the sauce that's sort of hidden on the side, mustard, and sour cream-like sauce. The bread pudding was a tad cold so it wasn't that great, and my first serving of the roast beef was sliced by a chef who didn't quite know how to slice it properly.I had asked for less pasta on my pesto pasta but it turned out that my pasta barely had any pesto sauce to it and hence, tasted quite bland.Sashimi spread included Tuna, Salmon, and Octopus--mediocre and decently fresh. Oysters were really good but ran out in the blink of an eye. Their mayo sauce with the fish eggs and scallops were really tasty though. While you can order Coffee and Tea, you can also order hot chocolate Their mango mochi was really yummy and their ice cream sorbets are comparable to haagen dazs standard. continue reading
