The FoodI ordered Cote De Boeuf ($110), Crab Cakes ($22) and Lamb Shank ($32)Cote de Boeuf - A kilo of 150-day grain fed Australian beef which was very well done with the meat tender on almost all parts and the fats chewyLamb Shank - It was a bit disappointing as it turned out looking and tasting more like a stew and the lamb wasn't as tender as wat it should beCrab Cakes- I liked the way the garlic, coriander and chili blended so well together. On taste, I have to admit it did not have the wow-factor but still acceptable to my expectationsThe ServiceThe restaurant was quite crowded but was immediately ushered to our table promptly once the seats are available. The waiter & waitresses were friendly and approachable too.The AmbienceI like the cosy ambience and surroundings with comfy chairs with acceptable noise levelThe PriceSpend about $170 for the whole bill.OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

Birthday Celebration @ Rocks-Urban Grill+Bar with my best friends,Could either walk from Marina Bay or Raffles Place MRT station. 10-15mins walk.it is a very quiet and cosy place to have dinner... only 3-4 tables are occupied, guess the price is not very affordable by common people, they do offer lunch set though.Twice-Cooked Kurobuta Pork Cutlet (Most worth of trying... thick and juice, serving quite big)Crusted Black Cod (Really Crusted... and tender inside)Seafood Risotto (Creamy Risotto, but the risotto is not soft enough, but the seafood ingredients are fresh)Scottish Salmon (Can try for all fish lover, will be great if there is a mashed potatoes to go along with it)Did not try the desserts as we are pretty full from the early meal. They do serve beers and wine with Pizza or finger food to go along with it. Nice place to chill out and watch soccer by the bar area continue reading

I came here for dinner with friendsThe scallop carpaccio -thinly sliced scallops served with olives, frisee salad & truffle mousse. The scallops were fresh & very sweet, and I like how the truffle enhanced but didn’t overwhelm the scallops.Kurobuta pork cutlet-Simply grilled &served with just a squeeze of lemon to bring out the natural juices of the pork, this is a really good pork chopThe pork was sweet, juicy & tender & marinated with a blend of herbs Food here is definitely good, with nice view, just that is a bit expensive & potion is very small continue reading
