Brunch with family at Sakura.
Just OK 2011-08-14

My family decided to have a fast brunch before heading to our own respective stuff (study, work) So we reserved a place at Sakura Halal Thai Chinese Cuisine at Northpoint.

The dishes were really fine. I think its not bad. The price is quite reasonable. The service is not bad as well!

sweet ad sour fish

One of Sakura’s specialities is the sweet and sour fish. I was a bit hesitant to try the fish as I don’t usually eat fish prepared in that way. But when I gave it a shot, it was pretty good. The dish was well balanced. It was served with onions, chilli and pineapple. The sweet and sour fish is a must have when dining at Sakura.

quite worth wile halal thai chinese food!
Smile 2011-03-08

I was shopping at the watson’s sale the other day at northpoint shopping mall with a couple of friends when we chanced upon sakura halal thai chinese cuisine restaurant. It looked quite high class as compared to the food court. We decided to give it a try. Actually the main course such as fried rice, mee goreng all cost about food court prices like $4.50. we each ordered a main course and an additional kai lan with oyster sauce. We ordered a small kai lan since there were only 3 of us, and the portion turned out quite small, luckily the portion of the main course was A LOT. So it kind of outweigh each other. As a whole, the entire meal was really filling!
