Satay is one of the must-haves when you're eating at Pasir Panjang! I was entertaining friends from overseas so ordered a big plate of chicken satay and rice cakes which were served still in the leaf wrapper. It was one of the favorite dishes at the table - the sweet, smokey meat is so yummy it doesn't even need the peanut sauce. I did like the peanut sauce too but didn't taste the pineapple like another reviewer said it has? Service was good too and they brought the satay to our table quickly. It was $8.50 for 15 pieces of satay and rice cakes. continue reading

The meat is juicy and full of flavour. The peanut gravy has a special pineapple sauce added to it, giving it a special taste. I ordered chicken and mutton satay and a rice cake. The mutton was well-marinated and grilled to perfection while the chicken, a huge chunk of meat, was tender and equally delicious. The meat chunks contained almost little or no fat, so I could savour every bit of meat. Cucumber and onion slices are the extra sides and these go equally well with the pineapple peanut gravy. continue reading

This stall has one of the most delicious satays and barberqued chicken wings in town. For me, I prefer their satays the best as the chicken meats on the satay sticks are very chewy and tender, which is also filled with the nice fragrant from the marinated sauce use in it. The peanut sauce is also very tasty which is more towards the thicker version and the peanut fragrant is definitely going to make you crave for more. continue reading

I came with my partner to this food centre after a movie at Vivo. We were there rather late for supper. We just wanted something light so BBQ Chicken Wings are a good choice. I can clearly taste the honey used in marinating the chicken wings that further led to its charred texture. It has got a slight crisp on the texture and still retained its tenderness within. We tried it from this stall for the first time and we enjoyed it. continue reading
