This stall is located opposite my house for about 20 years. Seriously I will never eat in this stall, because when I am young, while eating the noodle, I saw a greenish smelly thingy inside my bowl of noodle. To my horror, I showed my mother and she tells me that it is a tooth brush leftover. She confronted the hawkers yet she commented, “okay, I just change one of you lo.” this was inside my mind whenever I patrolling this food centre, I will never eat in this stall ever in my life. This is my brother’s lunch, I am writing this because I think being rude and unhygienic, cause my whole life to remember them and not to eat from this stall. In my own opinion, I think as a hawker, cleanliness is the most important point to look after. This stall has forever lost a customer like me and I suppose there are more to go.
Their lor mee was quite a different one, not really that traditional or authentic type of lor mee. The lor mee sauce was not that strong flavour, there wasnt any taste of garlic at all actually. But the sauce texture was quite good. It was quite smooth and not lumpy at all.
There wasnt any minced garlic and ngor hiang which usually can be seen in other typical lor mee. But their thinly sliced pork and braised egg were fresh and nice.
had an awesome dinner at Seng Seng Fishball Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle. Ordered their minced pork noodle. The minced pork is very nicely marinated and finely chopped to very even tiny pieces. The noodle is also very soft and chewy! Yum yum! Totally love the sauce. Goes so well with the noodles and minced pork meat.
This stall not only sell fishball noodles. They sell lor mee too.
First time trying their lor mee. Quite nice actually. The noodles is cooked just nice, not overcooked or soggy. And the lor mee gravy taste is more on the lighter version, not those very strong flavour type of lor mee.
The ingredients are rather fresh too. Love the braised egg and thinly slice pork.
This is one of my favourite fishball noodles stall whenever i have a craving for fishball noodles. This stall really serve delicious and fresh fishball minced pork noodle. Their ingredients are always fresh and tasty, especially the fishball, is always springy and 'Q'.
And i love their noodles or kway teow. It is always cooked just nice, always has a nice springy and 'Q' texture!
Their minced pork and pork slices are very tasty and flavourful too (very well marinated).
This stall really serve very nice fishball mushroom minced pork noodle. Their ingredients are always fresh and tasty, especially the fishball, is always springy and 'Q'.
But the best part is their noodles! The uncle really know how to control the heat and the timing for cooking the noodles (whether its mee por, kway teow, yellow mee or mee hoon). The noodles is always cooked just nice, the texture is still springy and 'Q'.
And i love their minced pork too! Its so yummy! By the way, i just realised that i didnt have any mushrooms for the mee por i bought today. Think the uncle forgot to add the mushrooms. But even without the mushrooms, the mee por is still very delicious! Slurps!
