As I was there quite early, most of the stalls were close except this prawn noodle stall, the wanton noodle and another stall. Only the prawn noodle stall had a queue which didn't went away even when I was leaving the place! The highlight of an excellent bowl of prawn noodles lies in the broth and the freshness of the prawns! I really love the broth and is by far one of the best I've ever tried! They were also very generous with their ingredients and I had like 5 decent sized prawns! I am happy to find an awesome prawn mee stall around Tampines! continue reading

I was looking for breakfast and saw this long queue for the prawn noodle and decided to give it a go. This stall serves pork rib noodle - $4, prawn noodle soup - $3, prawn noodle dry - $3.50 and pig’s tail noodle - $4. This is also the first time I see a stall selling pig’s tail noodle. No prizes for guessing correctly, the popular one that people ordered is the prawn noodle. The amount of prawn (5 pieces), meat, fishcake and vegetables given was of reasonable servings. The prawn was fresh as the meat was firm and soft and does not have the fishy taste. The noodles were also cooked well and not soggy. People that cannot take spiciness must remember to tell the seller to put less chilli as the seller put quite a lot for mine. The soup is not salty and has that refreshing taste. I would certainly come back to this stall for more prawn noodle next time. continue reading
