Complimentary bread, one slice per person and my friends agreed that they tasted great. After our multiple servings of the salad bar, which included soups, salad, pasta, noodles, etc, we had yogurt ice cream (frozen yogurt). I attempted to create a tall ice cream like those found in Taiwan. Failed tower! I found the frozen yogurt rather nice as they have a tingling bit of sourness. I decided to have another tall serving of it, this time the chocolate flavour with watermelon cubes as 'toppings'.
Of course each of us had the main course! ... It was just average......

Great Salad Bar + Decent Main Course
Smile 2012-03-25

We gals decided to have a gathering nite at Sizzler Suntec to enjoy their western dinner and salad bar.

   Mushroom Soup

Thick creamy mushroom soup with crispy croutons

   Cheesy Toast

Fantastic Cheesy Toast, best thing is its free flow!
Generous butter spread onto thick slice of bread, sprinkle with shredded cheese and baked till brown... Simply great!

A wide variety of salad to choose from or mix and match.

Creation II

Creation III

The salad bar comes with free flow of spaghetti as well

Our main course of the nite, Grill salmon with tomato salsa.
I find that their main course is so so only. Salmon seems overly cooked but the tomato salsa is great, among the diced tomatoes, there r bits of crispy bacons.

Last but not least, desserts! My friend thought that the ice-cream available are chocolate and vanilla flavour and she choose the 'so called' vanilla. In the end, she commented that the ice-cream taste mild sour! lolz...

When it's my turn for dessert, it seems like my friend misunderstand. It's yoghurt ice-cream! No wonder it taste mild sour! smile

Sizzler
Smile 2012-02-20

Sizzler is a place where you can grab as much food as you want which is a BUFFET!
But that's for the appetizer and desserts. They have a large variety of appetizer from asparagus to bacon and mushroom soups. the desserts they have are yogurt ice cream and drinks are freeflow i think. The main course is something you have to order and i ordered the fish set, it's different from the fish and chip you have outside, it's fresh and crispy outside, tender inside.

salad bar
Smile 2011-11-25

Sometimes I prefer side dishes more than the main course. All my friends laugh at me whenever I told them that. I was so glad them my friend brought me to sizzler. I was so excited to see their salad bar, despite ordering the main course, I was happily enjoying my sides. I took their potato salad, egg salad and mushroom. It was so good. I love the dressing they tossed the potato and egg with. Really delicious.

yummy grilled chicken
Smile 2011-11-20

my girlfriend and I went to sizzler for dinner the other day. We tried their spicy chicken. It was really delicious. the chicken was grilled perfectly. It was tender and juicy and the piece of meat was really large. It came with thick fries. the fries are fried till golden brown. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The spiciness of the chicken was just right. I really miss such great western food.

Sizzler - A Brand That Is Hidden At The Corner
Smile 2011-10-25

6 years back was my first time at Sizzler, back then the salad bar left me a very deep impression. Unlike some house name like Swensens, Fish & Co, Hans and etc Sizzler stand out from the crowd because of this distinguish salad bar that comes with the main course. Meaning when you order a e.g. steak then you are entitle to the salad bar which comes with not only the salad but soup and ice cream too! Of course the main comes with a slightly higher price tag but it is definitely money well spend. The price range approximate $25 - $35 for the main course.

6 years later I stepped into Sizzler the second time. Why am I 6 years late! After having my dinner there I just thought why didn't I patronize them often enough and have to wait for 6 years later! The food here is superb, everyone of us enjoy our mains and extremely in love with the salad bar! Sizzler hasn't change a tiny bit, it is still the same furnishing and the same layout. The fact that all my girlfriends didn't know about the establishment of Sizzler at Suntec City Mall make me less guilty. They just commented: "I didn't know of such great place hidden at the corner."

And if you are reading this, please make way to Sizzler some day and you will now have another favouite place to go to! If you are not a salad lover then this isn't really a place for you but otherwise GO FOR IT!

When we reached there, it was mad crowded with families. On the left there's baby crying and on the right we had baby screaming and a few kids running around. It seems like a market somehow, so if you intend to have some romantic dinner forget about it on a weekends.

There's all kind of salad here, I personally favour the broccoli, the egg mayo and the potato salad. The coleslaw taste kind of raw to me.

The soups here are excellent!

Mushroom Soup

Looking at it, you won't think that it is mushroom soup isn't it because most of the western restaurants don't serve mushroom soup creamy. This is the best mushroom soup I ever had!

Beside mushroom soup, they have the clam chowder soup which is equally great too!

I had the Grilled Salmon main and when it came, I was like W-H-A-T such a small portion! As my friends ordered Sizzler Steak, Ribeye Steak and Fishermans Catch which come with a big serving and the Fishermans Catch is one that is too overload that 2 of my friends couldn't finish it. Thus, upon seeing my main, they were saying this is it?

But after having the salad bar with the soups this portion was just right for me which I was very thankful of as all the girls couldn't finish their main and started to share food. smile

I ended my meal with Mr.Softee like ice cream and the joy of making my own ice cream corn is definitely fun!

Sizzler - Suntec City Mall
Smile 2011-10-02

At Sizzler, for just $25 you can purchase a platter and a buffet of free flow of drinks, salad, fruits and soup. I ordered the chicken steak with potatoes as sides. The ambience is nice for dining and a good place to catch up with friends. The quality of food is average, not really that fantastic. The menu has a good selection of platters (western food).

Birthday celebration
Smile 2011-08-25

It was a friend's birthday and 3 of us decided to give her a treat. It was lunchtime and the place was crowded. There was a promotion also whereby if we ordered any main course, we can eat the salad bar for free. We were spoilt for choice as there was a great variety of salad, soup and pasta salad and even ice cream at the bar.
We were served 4 slices of french toast once we were seated. For the maincourse, Two of us ordered Salmon with baked potato and the rest ordered beef steak. I like this restaurant as we can change the sides to baked potato if we don't like fries or salad. Quite flexible. While waiting for the main course, we had fun exploring the salad bar and we can mix it with different kind of salad dressing according to our taste. We finished our meal with the soft serve chocolate ice cream at the salad bar. Quite a pleasant experience at this place~

Lunch gathering
Smile 2011-06-22

as mentioned, it was our pri sch gathering

i chose this place as they have a variety of meat, be it steak, fish & chips, grill pork chop, fish and chicken... most of all its the healthy complimentry salad bar buffet.

in this post.. i only have main dish photos..

well presentation wise.. looks plain.. reason being there's a free flow salad bar.. consist of soups.. veges.. salads.. fruits..

I find that if the spicy chicken turns cold.. its not as nice.. or i would say 1 yr ago when i first tried it.. it tasted better..

as for the fish and chip.. it comes toether with Yakitori sauce on top of the fish fillets.

Healthy 'Semi-Buffet'
Smile 2010-11-30

Sizzler are not just good at their steaks, infact I think they have done a better job at their salad bar range.
The salad came as a set with the main dish which I've ordered.
The meal start off with some soup from the bar. I had clam chowder which are pretty decent on it's taste. Thick and flavorful but short of sight of clams. .

Salad bar: I love their self assembled salad bar. Pretty comprehensive range for the setup, infact their salad bar is the highlight of the entire dining experience at sizzler.

Main course: Teriyaki and mustard chicken, I think it's just passable for me. Pretty light on terayaki taste. (or it's just me?)

I think this is somewhere I'd head if I'm feeling a little more 'health conscious' for the day.
Price wise, I think it's pretty reasonable for a healthier 'semi-buffet range.'
