Fishball noodles $2.50I was quite surprised that the taste of the fishball noodles was good! The noodles had a slight springy texture. Ingredients in it were 1 fish dumpling, 2 fishballs, 1 meatball and some fishcakes and minced meat. It would definitely taste better if eaten there. Perhaps because I had takeaway the noodles that was why the noodles had absorbed the gravy, making it a tad dry. The gravy had a homely taste and makes me crave more when I eat it. I'll request for more gravy the next time round should I want to take away! continue reading

FoodI used to love the noodles alot during my school days but recently I realised that their portion had strink tremendously and was not tasty as before.Ordered my $2.50 Minced Meat Fishball noodles , Bee Tai Mak dry. Portion is small and not generous. Comes with 2 fishball and one meatball in soup and few slices of fish cake on top of my noodles.Close up of the noodles with small portion of minced meat. I will prefer if I can have more minced meat in the noodles. However, overall the taste of Soon Lee's Fishball Mee is moderately good, the sauce that comes along with it tends to be over saltish by a bit. Soup is very tasty with "Dong Cai" and usually I will finish the whole bowl of it.ServiceAuntie is quite grumpy but nevermind.AmbienceA hawker center environment that is noisy.PricePrice will be ok if portion is bigger abit.Recommendation / TipsOrder a bigger portion if not you will feel hungry soon after meal. continue reading

My brother bought two packets of dried fishball kway teow for our lunch from the hawker centre opposite West coast plaza. Well, this is a very standard and normal dried fishball kway teow. But I was a bit upset that the chilli sauce and ingredients is too little, which has affected the overall taste of the dried fishball kway teow. If not, it could have taste much better. continue reading
