Opening the 3rd outlet in Singapore, 313 sommerset, Soup Stock Tokyo offer their specialty in an easily accessible place. Around 50 seats available for customers in this outletYes, Soup stock Tokyo offer a small bowl of soup and a choice of either bread or rice. Well i chosen the Double Soup set so that i can have another soup to taste!! Each set come with a drink too. The soups are presented in white paper mug-shaped bowls with a wooden tray which give off a clean and earthly feeling. Even the tables and chairs are wooden, i cant help but feeling that i am dining in with nature. The bread serve is fluffy and soft. I especially like the flakiness after tearing it into pieces. I had chosen Hokkaido Crab Bisque and Chicken & Vegetable soup for my double set. The Hokkaido Crab Bisque is the type of typical soup that will make you dip your breads in and eat with it. With its thick and creamy texture, the combination give off a unique seafood taste. Simply wonderful. Chicken and Vegetable - This is a form of comfort food for me. The soup is lightly flavored but you can taste the natural sweetness of the chicken meat and cabbage. This help to balance off the heavy food that i had for Hokkaido Crab Bisque. Verdict: 3.5 /5Price: $12 per paxI will give it a 3.5 points as these are really comfort food for everyone. Presentation of food is very earthly and natural. You can really find calmness for the food serve here. continue reading

For full review, please visit http://yulenewang.blogspot.sg/2014/12/313somerset-soup-stock-tokyo.htmlWe ordered butter chicken curry rice, yukgaejang, tomato stew with chicken and vegetable, and pork and tomato stroganoff. If you do not enjoy plain rice, they have 2 more options - rice with sesame or Japanese bread. We went ahead with rice sesame, it tasted well. The soups were thick and generous with ingredients. The chicken in curry rice was really soft and tender. Though there were only 2 pieces of chicken, 2 pieces of potato and 2 long beans, it was still fulfilling and yummy! The curry sauce was full of fragrance and not spicy, tasted like a true Japanese curry. continue reading
