This bowl of oyster mee sua contain ingredients such as the meatball, mee sua and chopped coriander. The gravy of the mee sua is thick and the mee sua is well cooked and has a soft texture. The gravy of the mee sua is well seasoned, not too salty, mild spicy and pepper taste with added vinegar and chili paste. The meatball given is fresh, big and juicy. The presentation of the mee sua is also quite presentable and appealing. continue reading

Vermicelli in thick dark gravy is one of the signature dish at Xiao Bar Wang. Unlike other Taiwanese shop which they adds in oysters, this stall has actually replaced the oysters with popcorn sized fried chicken meat. The taste of the vermicelli is quite similar to those with oyster, only is whether you prefer to have oyster or chicken meat in your bowl of vermicelli. Add in some black vineager and dashes of pepper and some parsley and this dish is ready to be served. At below four dollars per bowl, it is consider a cheap and affordable food for your lunch or dinner. continue reading

Promotions were going on and this mega crispy chicken was a new launch for a limited period;DPreviously, they had launched this mega crispy chicken too, and my mum was telling me how nice it was. When I wanted to buy it the last time, I was disappointed that it is no longer available. So this time when I saw that the mega crispy chicken was launched again, I went to order it immediately.(:No doubt, the crispy chicken was awesome and I really love it to the max!;DIt was really mega and I got really full after finishing the whole portion. The chicken was really crispy and richly flavoured. I was totally amazed at the juicy level of the chicken! It was so tender and juicy, a taste that I have never gotten from any other crispy chicken elsewhere. When I mention tender, it is really tender! There isn’t really a need to bite much on it and you could already get the chicken in your mouth;D so even though the size of the cut chicken was a little too big, it won’t cause a problem…so easy to eat and consume!^^And it was really juicy;D normally, crispy chicken tend to make us thirsty after finishing it due to that it was fried. But this mega crispy chicken does not causes that!;D Moreover, the wonderful taste lingers in my mouth after every single bite I took^^Really delicious! I’ll have to buy it again ASAP before it becomes unavailable again!xD continue reading

It costs $3 for a bowl of mee sua at Xiao Bar Wang. The mee sua is soft and easy to consume. There are a few meat balls in the bowl of mee sua. The décor of the restaurant is simple, but chic. The cafe seems small and most people leave after finishing their food. continue reading

First time trying this Xiao Bar Wang. It not really impressed me. I ordered Crispy Chicken and shared with my friend. The chicken was fried on the spot, so it is hot and crispy. The spices they sprinked on the chicken quite good but I just can tasted was only the flour. It is really oily. The oyster mee sua was not good as well. In addtion, their milk tea was not bad but small. To me I rather take Shihlin Crispy Chincken and Oyster Mee Sua. Not recommended to others. I won't go there again. The service-wise only average. continue reading
