Found out about this place through a friend a couple of months ago. It totally changed my opinion in regards to chinese soups and since I have never looked back!Great variety of soups which also includes Herbal Chicken Soup(My favourite). The Herbal Chicken Soup is served hot with or without rice. It is apparent that the herbs they procure are of certain quality as you can taste it's potency. However, the herbal taste and smell is not overpowering and balances well with the tender texture of the chicken. I'm not sure if it's a mature hen or normal chicken; but it doesnt matter it's really tasty. A hidden gem that might not catch your eye on first sight is the Mei Cai. It it savoury with a touch of sweetness and tang to it. It smells extremely pleasant and it's not overly soft and mushy therefore giving it a firm consistency. It goes well with rice by the way.Service is excellent. The stallowners even added in extra information on what health benefits certain soups can have. A really good find!

Just like what you could have at home, you just don't have to go through the trouble and pain of preparing them. Soup is aromatic and their Mei Cai (salted vegetables) goes just nice with the smooth rice. One of the usual meals I would crave for.Do expect long queues or items sold out in the evening, but be assured that you will be served quite quickly and offered an alternative.

LOVE the piping hot soups served here! For simple reasons - delicious, healthy and cheap!Authentic and delectable stewed soups are being prepared by Hong Kong couple. The soups are very rich in taste and gives one "a feel at home". The serving is often generous; but you may crave for even more because it's delicious! (This may sound weird, but their rice is very tasty, just like the kind you have at home, perfect when you have it with the soup)Chinese herbs are good to our body in different ways; such as Dang Gui which treats the heart and Ginseng which boosts energy, not to mention wolfberries which builds up our immune system! You can really see solid pieces of herbs in their soups, not just powder and left overs. This explains the richness in the tastes. The clear vegetable and pork ribs soups are cooling soups and is specially satisfying when you feel heaty. They have many variations as well! My favourite would be the Watercress Pork Ribs Soup for its sweetness Specials are offered once in a while, they had Turnip & Pork RIbs Soup last month which I love too as it is clear yet tasty. I heard from my friends that they are now selling American Ginseng Chicken Soup, which I can't wait to try too! Chicken and duck soups at $4.50; Vegetable with Pork Ribs soup at $3.

They offer "Cheap & Delicious" soups in their regular menu, and also have a " This month Special" in the signboard. What I like about their soups is that it's heartening, chock-full of ingredients , and overall pretty healthy. Even their regular size bowl would probably satisfy big eaters I like the herbal soups and I also like their vegetable soup, pork ribs soup......Yummy
