The last time I dined at Xin Wang was 4 years ago and I did not have a strong impression of their food. But this time round, I found that the food has improved tremendously with the revamped menu of over 160 items!Best things of all, I discovered two favorite dishes that night. The Pork Ribs Bee Hoon 猪排米粉, was a dark beauty that started me swooning. It's pretty similar to the Pig Trotters Bee Hoon, but the vermicelli is sweeter, moist yet does not clump together.Everything about The Xin Wang Signature Fried Rice ($10.90) is appetizing. Must-try. Unlike the usual white fried rice, these grains has a nice caramelized sweetness to them with generous chunks of fish slices, prawns, cuttlefish, crabmeat. And best of all, the crunchy fried white baits.Chicken Chop with Mushroom Cream Spaghetti could be better, if the spaghetti hadn't be dry and under seasoned. But the humble chicken had some delightful crunchy edges and tender flesh. The French Toast with ice cream is rather puzzling because the giant deep-fried bread lacked any egg aroma and was too chewy. However, don't omit the new Rainbow Gula Melaka, an icy shaved dessert not drenched in all the artificial syrups but gula melaka sauce. Simply yet comforting. Full review and pics on http://dairycream.blogspot.jp/2014/08/xin-wang-hong-kong-cafe-fly-me-to-hong.html

Have to admit, supper is evil fattening. Yet I was still hanging out for it, because of my insane craving towards dessert. With some of my big eater gang, we opted for Xin Wang Hong Kong Café since it opened till late midnight. Décor was nothing huge different with other outlets, simple neat and comfy. Attentive service, staffs were observant and friendly.Final decision on cooling bowl after browsing extensive Menu, pretty chilled shaved ice was contented enough with generous amount of Pearls, Jelly and Longans. Refreshing at the moment of first swallow, frozen ice was fascinatingly smooth. I particularly loved the combination, it created well-popping sensation as I was playing jelly in my mouth. Wonderful sweetness ever, perhaps it focused on real-fruity taste. Light and fluffy dessert, it gave a sweet feeling for peaceful night.

ordered the promotion set which comes with macau pork chop noodles, ice lychee tea and dessert at 10.90 which i think is really value for money. the ice lychee tea was refreshing. the pork chop noodles was average but the portion was quite big. i also love the pear and snow fungus dessert which was not too sweet and serving was really big. overall it was a good dining experience with good food and service, will go there for lunch again!

Was looking for a dessert place to dine in after having dinner around cityhall area. Many restaurant were doing closing as it was around 10pm+. So we came to Xinwang as it opens till 2am everyday.Me and 3 other friends ordered this Mango snow ice with ice cream and was shocked that it is so huge. we couldn't finish it, not because it isn't nice but the portion is too big. The mango taste very fresh and overall this dessert is very refreshing. Would come back for more dessert in future!

Supper after watching AMeiZing concert at the indoor stadium. Couldn't find a suitable venue, so we decided to go 新旺香港茶餐厅 at Marina SquareWhat's good here is that they served all-day-breakfast throughout the day & being a 'ham & egg' lover, I decided to order the all-day-breakfast which comes with ham, egg, toast, hashbrown. Toast was quite disappointing as it is not evenly toasted.
